Everytime I think of something to make the game better I write it down. Here are my ideas: These concern the console versions and not the pc version where addons are permitted.

-When searching for motifs, blueprints or recipes in traders it would be nice to filter by ones not known.
-Master writs should be listed under Other/ trophy in the guild store or have their own filter
-Would be nice to be able to zoom in more on the map for better placement of waymarkers and to reduce or turn off snap to.
-Allow us to preview furnishing and furnishing blueprints that are in our inventory or linked in chat
-It Would be nice to have treasure maps stack in your inventory and or bank or at least stack up to 5 or something
-It would be convenient to be able list items directly from your bank in the guild store without having to put them in your personal inventory first
-It Would be nice to store runeboxes in your bank and have them stack
-Sell wearhouse buildings like you do houses for those who want to open a furniture store.
-I wish more furnishings were interactable. Would be nice to click on a bed and sleep.
-Sell a Bard assistant that we can add to our homes to play music for us when we throw parties
-better rewards in the wet gunny sacks such as rare style ingredients or furnishing blueprints.
-provide more smaller homes for sale. A house boat would be nice. ( just the boat, without the large property). perhaps a fishing cabin with your own private river or a small cave.

I would like it if the furniture preview would let you compare the in-game size of things....like let you add a target dummy to the preview so you can compare things to normal person height

agree with many of ops ideas too

    Hi there, @volkeswagon,

Thanks so much for taking the time to share, all of your suggestions are very interesting! The houseboat along with more furnishings that are able to be interacted with, in particular, sound like really fun ideas.

While we can't guarantee your ideas will make it into the game, we can definitely keep them in mind when working on future updates. Please don't hesitate to share any other feedback or suggestion you may have for us in the future, we love reading them.

Everytime I think of something to make the game better I write it down. Here are my ideas:

-When searching for motifs, blueprints or recipes in traders it would be nice to filter by ones not known.

I realize this might not be relevant, but this is possible with addons. In particular Awesome Guild Store will do this. To be honest, that one should probably be baked straight into the base game UI.
-Master writs should be listed under Other/ trophy in the guild store or have their own filter

Again, available to PC players via an addon. This one, Advanced Filters, adds additional filtering sub-groups to your inventory, and again, I'd say this is one that should be baked into the base game UI. Or at least part of it.

It allows you to filter armor by weight (Light, Medium, Heavy, Shields), Weapons by type (1h, 2h, Bow, Destro Staff, Resto Staff), ect. Master Writs get their own sub-filter under consumables.
-Would be nice to be able to zoom in more on the map for better placement of waymarkers and to reduce or turn off snap to.
-Allow us to preview furnishing and furnishing blueprints that are in our inventory or linked in chat

Again, addons solve this (though I don't use the ones that do.) Again, it'd be nice to push this into base game UI somehow. As far as I know, the only place you can preview these is in the Guild Store or from vendors.
-It Would be nice to have treasure maps stack in your inventory and or bank or at least stack up to 5 or something
Agreed. Also, it would be nice if stacked surveys could be completed simultaniously. Either by allowing a larger number of nodes to spawn (up to 5 maps at a time, maybe), or by increasing the node payouts (so with 10 maps, you'd be pulling a full stack of raw mats from each tier 10 node.)
-It would be convenient to be able list items directly from your bank in the guild store without having to put them in your personal inventory first

Also being able to back out of your guild store/guild bank/personal bank interfaces without discontinuing conversation with the NPC. When you want to pull something out of the bank, you have to go through their dialog at least twice to list it. (Three times if you forgot to pull the gold necessary for listing from the bank with it.)
-It Would be nice to store runeboxes in your bank and have them stack

Also other containers and Undaunted Keys. At one time there was a legitimate argument against this, But, champion points and One Tamriel render this as a weird artifact of days gone by.

This reminds me. It would be nice if we could actually buy and furnish guild halls. As opposed to having to make due with using one of our guild member's houses as a proxy.

This could allow for a lot of functionality not currently possible. Including crafting areas that can select from multiple attuned sets, without requiring us to set up 400 crafting stations, and options to expand the building itself, as the guild grows. Potentially even fully functioning merchants, and bankers, as well as a guild trader (presumably with other players having the option to visit another guild's hall, if invited.) Also, the option to display our guild heraldry (from the tabard) on the walls.

Within that context, a ship at sea might be one legitimate option. With upgrades expanding the ship into larger variants.

    1. Make the bracers and belts of start sets look like real armor. Make them thickier. Good example - thiefs guild sets. Some armor has a small details, that just painted on it. I'm understand that it's a technical problem, to make everything look great. So it's far reaching, though possible.
    2. Let the animals that we place in our homes, walk freely. Now animals are just staying at one place, pretending to be alive.

Another ideas like diving, free pvp zones, capes are impossible at least until ESO 2 is released. Heh.

i like the idea of being able to swim underwater. it looks like since the land detail is already present that is possible. you can put treasure etc underwater.
having one attunable table with each set listed under a menu would certainly save space. One would still buy attunable slots so it wouldn't affect anything other than space required.
It would be nice if when guilds disband their trader would remain empty until the following trader cycle to fix the problem of half the traders being bought by fake guilds who sell their spot to the highest bidder then disband. They make it hard for guilds to get traders sometimes.
I like to place my animals in certain spots for comic effect so having them roam freely would ruin that.

Pre-Wrothgar armor was painted onto the character's skin. I'd love to see a mesh review of the original armors to bulk them up a bit, and increase the texture fidelity, while retaining the original design. It's not going to happen, but it would be nice.
    2. Let the animals that we place in our homes, walk freely. Now animals are just staying at one place, pretending to be alive.

This, would be nice. Also the ability to place our alts down in our homes (with some system to avoid seeing the character we're logged in on), would be really cool as well.

First, you need better searchg tools on console. Zos chose the lazy idea of creating a minimalistic UI and let the community create what they wanted. Clearly consoles are not included in the community. Ironically, they had a more robust UI in early development but tossed it. They stated their "vision" was we get our information from the environment.

In short they admitted their failure in this area when they added the buff/de-buff tracker since they would never get the environment to work properly.

Master writs are not other trophy. They are consumables and approximately listed in that section. You just need better search tools in console, see above.

Yes, we should be able to previews furniture and more. The preview system in this game is high school intern level quality. It is a joke. We should be able to preview armor and more.

The treasure map and rune boxes stacking does not seem necessary. Use them or sell them. They are not collectables in themselves.

As pointed out some ideas are good but some are not necessary.

if you used treasure maps often enough you would agree they should stack. People send me treasure maps and I can't take because I already have one in my inventory. Or you find one in a treasure chest and you can't pick it up because you already have one in your inventory so you have to leave it thus annoying the other players. Treasure hunters find multiple maps all the time and have to find creative ways to store them such as on alt characters or in storage chests until we find time to dig them up. That's a huge complaint I here all the time from other advid treasure hunters so in our eyes it is necessary. Surveys stack so treasure maps should.
And I don't really care where writs go as long as they can be filtered while searching in traders. They may be listed under consumables on the pc add-on but don't seem to show up under any filter except under all on the console which was my complaint.

Agree with everything, also would add:
    1. Can do something with your non-combat pets like if u log out in mansion/home you have they find random item after u were loged out for X hours, also wanna interact with them at homes - pet, groom or something.
    2. Add earrings as part of jewelry set, I sure as hell would want to wear something nice on my Dark Elf ears, they would be utility sets not damage sets, for example adding bigger chance to find purple item in treasure chest or you need 1 less gold mat to upgrade stuff.
    3. I would love to see you introduce a real guildhouse/town owned by guild. Guilds would need to gather mats to grow that city, instead of guild traders auctions each guild town would have their own trader, because let's be honest some smaller guilds just cannot compete with older traders and win a bid. It would also set guild to have more guild activity not just Trial and Vet Dung and PvP. It would be one fictional city somewhere in different oblivion pocket dimension.
    4. EDIT: Forgot about it lol more slots in housing 700 is not enough for me.

I would like to see an option for outfits to hide these side or front flaps.
They often clip through armor or legs/robes and it just looks awefull.

Also i'd love to see that maybe the lower part of robes can be used seperately, instead of legs for example

cant be that avid if they have an inventory full instead of having gone and found them already. unlike surveys, treasure maps are unique. its not that they dont stack, its that they are unique items. and should stay that way.

I like how people can use this forum and this thread specifically to share any ideas that they may have thought of to the improve the game based on things they come across as the play. Just keep in mind everyones playstyle is different so their ideas may not resonate with you but you can be sure many others will see things in a similar light. We just need to respect each others way of thinking and to not make anyone feel bad for sharing their thoughts ( I included). WWJD.

I hope you're aware that from a long list of good ideas you picked the two that probably concern the smallest number of players!?

In order to make your game more enjoyable - and lessen the aftertaste of "work" when doing regular/ordinary tasks - there are so many point in that list you could implement without much effort and generate a flood of happiness and thankfulness and a much much more positive attitude towards ESO, ZOS and you personally!

So please scrap that "oooh, a new home, and interacteable furnishings, what a good idea, we can generate a lot of new crown store sales with that" attitude and for once show you care about the state of the game.

    Thank you! :)

I support most of the things suggested here.

What I want to add is a request for more furnishing basic components, like construction elements (ladders, walls, floors, stairs) for the most popular furnishing styles or architecture styles. Also more interactable furnishings and varied designs for crafting stations. This should be followed by more empty terrain houses, where we could build whatever we like.

    Also:
    - a limited waterwalking spell, useful when riding and traveling long distances (not usable in pvp or in infested waters)
    - lights with more intensity levels
    - dye preview system
    - a way to save and sell outfits (which will be saved in one of your outfit slots)

I like the "expandable home" idea.
I think they could make that work with a "Waterworld"-like floating village we could expand with more raft/ship modules. I would really like just some magical ability to conjure up multiple islands though, even if we could only do so from pre-planned options.

But the biggest thing I want is bigger house building blocks and more blank slate homes. I want a blank slate like the grotto without the ruins and the boat and instead have my own houses like the full tents to place in it. I would love to put the main building from the College of Aldmeri Propriety in Auridon into a home since I rather like the wraparound balcony outside.
I would love to build my own home with walls and entries and balconies just like the building block pieces we had back in TES3 Morrowind modding. This would definitely need an item slot increase or a separate item classification for building block pieces though. It would be cool to build our own White-Gold Tower sort of building from the ground up to our own specifications.
