I have to wonder what was going through their minds when the put them there to begin with? The people that design the delves and place assets in them know about the loot tables from containers, no? I will give them some credit and assume that the delve designers know the ins and outs of the items they place in their delves. They were fully aware of the amount of containers that were placed in such a confined area. It is blatantly obvious that it is a farming location. It was fine when Summerset released but is somehow not fine now? What changed?

I don't want to say I'm for or against the number of lootable containers. What I am against is changing something that was put in place on purpose. People do have fun looting the wardrobes. This will be a situation where it's possible that the wardrobe density is higher than ZOS is happy with, however, the negative impact of going in and changing it after the fact is more damaging than any economy balance they perceive to be adding back into the system with the change. Basically, there is no reason to change anything, even if it's slightly unbalanced because it only serves to anger your playerbase.

Company that focuses on nerfing freaking wardrobes in delve, than deal with more serious issues in game, is ridiculous.

I think that's a big part of the point of the poll.

yep we need to take out all farm spots so we can over charge for items.

    BUT why stop there
1 make Dolmans so you only get xp for the first time you complete them and no xp from kills!
2 If you enter the same delve within 15 min of leaving no xp will be gained for kills
3 increase the bounty gained from pick pocketing by a factor of 1000%

    more to come;)

It does, it absolutely does, and maybe ZoS should be concentrating on those instead of nerfing wardrobes.

I'm just assuming the code wasn't written properly and that more of the wardrobes were supposed to be already opened when coming to the instance. The first time I walked into the place on release day I knew it was broken. Everybody here knows it as well. I'm pretty sure it's almost zero work to make the change so not focusing on other more important issues isn't a problem since it shouldn't take up much resources.

I was going to start another in my series of useless polls and ask if people go clockwise or counterclockwise to hit all the wardrobes in the room.

    Now I just don't care.

I'm just going to wait and see what happens.

Right now it's like focusing on Mzeneldt and Avanchnzel being emptied in patch 2.0.6 when Inner Sea Armature, Santaki, Razak's Wheel, Lower Bthanual, and Yldzuun all saw increases in containers about a week later in 2.0.7.

They will nerf it no matter what customers want, it effects their damn economy so it'll go..

I don't understand why they added the wardrobes in the delve, if they didn't want them to be looted that much? They knew they are there when they released the expansion right? I also find it a strange coincidence that they will remove them when the Alinor furniture is datamined in the future crown store. With so many wardrobes removed, the chance of getting the furniture motives will be lower (and I expect them to make them even rarer overall), so people prefer to just buy the set in the Store than looking for rare and expensive furniture motifs.

There are way bigger issues that have to be fixed, which should have priority. Like the flickering/invisible walls and floors bugs, long loading screens, lag and you name it.

To be fair, during his time with the Psijic Order Mannimarco did have more than a few skeletons in the closet.

yes but the thing is this is the way the players want the economy. Someone mentioned it in one of these 2 threads about this. Do we all remember how much morrowind housing sucked? It was because they werent widely accessible and cost a fortune to buy. Maybe if you could actually sell furniture in traders scarcity would be ok because everyone could sell there cool item but its not, furniture cost so many damn mats that theres no point, especially alinor ***. Noone wants the price of these driven up to ridiculous rarity and prices because its not fun. Doing like 8 runs of traitors vault and getting an alinor plan is fun. It drives you to come back for more. Not randomly pickpocketing and looting for hrs and getting complete ***

Its like zos thinks that making grinds so hard for everything is helping there game when it just causes us to not care or get burnt out. Its actually insane how much they do this and i am 100% sick of it. its like jc, the amount of gold you need to dumb into it or the amount of farming for it is ludicrous to the point ppl just pretend it doesnt exist.

As a PS4 EU player it's more than clear to me and the other people on my server that ZOS doesn't care about the economy.
When, at console release, players got a free transfer from PC, a certain shall-remain-nameless player had enough gold to buy up ALL the gold mats and flip them, thus setting our prices for those at a higher rate than any other server. Said nameless player now controls many guilds, and from what I've heard has a bunch of gold farmers, and then onsells the gold said farmers make, for real money.

While it's probably so they can sell the furniture packs in the Crown $tore, more likely it's to "bring it in line" with the difficulty of obtaining anything in this game that has an RNG aspect.

Summerset furniture packs are being added to the Crown Store in the next update. There's your reason for the nerf, and the reason why they won't change their minds on it. Close the thread.

PC players were given the chance to transfer to console when ESO launched on them. I remember getting an email about it. That's off-topic though. I'm still waiting to find out what Mannimarco was doing with all those wardrobes...
