Guild Bank Stacking! Please....

I don't know about any other guildmasters but as Guildmaster of 5 Guilds and an officer in a few more I am begging please give us the ability to stack the guild bank via click like we can with our inventory.... community if your also wanting this feature please weigh in and comment so maybe the dev team will look into implementing it.

If you are on PC, there is an addon called Roomba that can do it for you.
If not I am sorry, and yes we really need an option for it built into the game, especially for console players.

Is Roomba still the way to go? New player here, and I'd like to stack my guild bank items.

I believe there used to be a way to do so, but some type of exploit was found that kinda made stacks multiply - from what i remember, this was a loooooong time ago - and so stacking like that for the guild banks went bye-bye.

Unsure if it will ever be re-formatted and re-released in some fashion, or remain forever mothballed.

(Some old-timer correct me if I'm mis-remembering, please)

As mentioned above, there's a duplication bug related to stacking items in the (guild)bank that allowed for duplicating stacks of items.

So in typical ZOS manner, they disabled bank auto stacking to "fix" the duplication bug ...

This is correct.

The exploit was not amenable to an easy fix. The options were to disable guild bank stacking or to not change item IDs after deposit, which means only the depositor could see them or withdraw them.

I suppose ZoS could shut down guild banks to rewrite the code...

Roomba works... sort of. Often times though there will be so much delay in withdrawing/depositing to guild bank that roomba fails too and you'll end up with half of the goods in your inventory still unstacked.

However you can combine it with bankmanager addon. The way it works is that the bankmanager will automatically desposit to guildbank the stuff you have specified. Roomba will withdraw unstacked stuff, stack them, and deposit again. If when these two are done there are stuff in your inventory, exit the guild bank interface, go into your inventory, press the button for stacking everything, then talk to the banker again and enter the guildbank. Bankmanagaer will then deposit all the stacks. Repeat exiting the bank and reentering again if necessary.

Bankmanager can be a pain to setup though, but once it is setup it is very pleasurable.

And yes if OP is on console I will pray a silent prayer for their sanity to stay intact.

They didn't mention anything in the last bethesda live, but since they are doing some performance adjusments and revisintg a lot of old bugs, I think they might finally fix guild bank stacking.

Its also the reason why you have to wait when pulling or putting in. I have averaged at least 2hrs+ per day every day I have played over the last 5+ years. I did the math on that. 125+ days stolen from me in total time because of the guild banking system. and I was being generous and use 300 days out 365 days in the game each year. I know its above that. [snip] 4+ month of sub time. Thats unacceptable
