New Black Metal Dwemer Spider Mount

It must be said that of the many available mount models (underneath the reskins) the dwemer spider is by far the best for speed and control in one's riding fast across Tamriel. At top speed you can pull off some insane maneuvers. I should record a video of a triple-ricochet I pulled off leaping off a high cliff in Wrothgar (and survived due to bizarre Tamrielic "vertical fall distance kills but full-speed faceplant into a rock wall mitigates falling damage physics)

There was a thread a while ago that said that it seems some mount navigate terrain better than others but I wonder if that is a myth

Seems like my guard has mad hopes and my bear can't get over a rock.

I've wondered if the height is the same but the hit box for the mount is different. So the guar's feet are higher up while his over all jump height is the same

someone supposedly tested ride smoothness on some rough terrain and supposedly dwemer spiders were the most smooth ride and then senches. I don't know if this is true tho

Nope, that's definitely true. Dwemer spider, then senche, then wolf, then horsies/elk, then nix-ox (which has some problems with intertia at high speeds and sort of just not coming to rest and drifting off edges you would have stopped at on other mounts), then camels/bears/kagouti, then guar, in that order of ride quality.

Id like to see someone do a video test of this

If I wasn't in so much pain tonight I'd love to, since I wanted to make a video of the fun ricochet place I found to jump around in. I had never read anyone mention this, I just thought it was obvious to anyone that had these mount models; that you'd just notice.

At first I thought it was gonna be an extra rare apex mount from the Hollowjack crates, but if it has an accompanying pet, not sure (that and no clear extra visual effects.)

As for anyone against Black Dwemer items/tech: Yeah, ZOS made these spider-boys to sell more crowns for more variety/colours, sure, duh. BUT if Black Dwemer is implausible in MUH LORE, please explain to me a little ditty from deep within Kagrumez called the Dwarven Black bow of Fate? https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/elderscrolls/images/d/d7/Dwarven_black_bow_of_fate.png/revision/latest?cb=20130206021043 THX in advance. :)

They kinda reminds me of a certain large, ridiculous Skyrim mod that ridiculously settles itself into the lore that involves Void-Dwemer metal briefly. Might pick these bad Spider-Boys up if I have the crowns at the time for an alt. Look Slick.

I love my dwemer spider mount and I spent the extra 1k crowns for the blue accents. That black one looks sweet. I would certainly like one. I wonder when they will be out, what the price will be, and if they will be gambling crates or straight up purchase.

You see reskins in all MMO's, don't know why you're making a big fuss about it.

Recolors can make a difference, just look at how many people are willing to pay money at zos just to get a apex mount that is in a better color

Don't know about others, but the "money" I got to buy an apex mount came from cashing in all of those worthless scrolls, potions, meals, soul gems, and duplicate costumes I've accumulated through the free crates from daily rewards. And while it looks cool, I would never, in a million years spend a dime of real money to buy one.

Looks rad. I'm a bit held back from breaking out my Dwemer spider more often due to the incessant screaching and clanging. It's quite loud. :(
