Game too broken to pay for sub

Sorry, guys...I like to support the game by maintaining a monthly sub, but PvP in Cyrodiil is just too broken to earn my dollars. The problems include:

- ongoing console crash issues
- Many PvP resource cost bugs
- No significant additions w Summerset
- Bad Wrobel game decisions
- stealth / sneak broken for week/months with no recognition by dev team
- Fixes promised w expansion release have not proven true or adequate.

I look forward to subbing again in the future when the game is performing better. But I have a strict entertainment budget, and would prefer to support companies that are able to deliver a working product.

I would drop it.... BUT I play pve and I'm a crafter and I can't play the game without a crafting bag so they will forever keep my sub

the unfortunate truth. battle spirit is horrible, average fps is 18-20 in actual 1vx/xVx fights and when thats paired with major expedition its a joke. The fact console players cant change graphics settings or turn the sensitivity higher than it is now along with sloads and well general pvp i dont think itll be fixed for at least months.

i dont think anyone on the dev team actually plays PvP, let alone ZOS

Personally, I think that PVP in this game is a revolving door of people who buy the game to do some PVP, decide this is not a PVP game, and leave.

The problems on the PVE side, while they exist, always seem to fall into the shadow of the complaints that people have about PVP.

I have an idea that will get people playing pvp at least in the mean time.... Please to god let us buy gold tempers/mastic ect with AP at the golden vendor. My pvp experience would be greatly enhanced if I could gold a weapon before next century. And crafting writs are boring beyond belief, the antithesis of fun.

Not going get more people pvping when loads of us are sat on tons of Ap all it will do is flood the market with his tempers reducing the cost

I agree though, it is hard to support via sub with how the game is currently.

I cancelled my ESO+ since PvP is broken and PvE didnt get any interesting/good content and on top of it im really burned out

I highly believe Zenimax has ALL the resources to make new good content, like we have seen with the massive release of the chapters, the worlds are absolutely huge and filled with quests etc.

Sadly zenimax doesnt know how to use their resources and doing the quests makes me feel like im playing Lego

thats right but AP are pretty worthless for now. it would be good to have a possibility to exchange them to gold in a IC bank for example

I think Zenimax doesnt want to Target the PvP audience therefor so many of us are leaving, High end PvP is dying quickly in the past few weeks

I mainly started playing this Game cause I wanted to PvP in an elder scrolls world, but I guess I have raids now right? lol

/agree.. PvP is great when it's *almost primetime.. ie just before or just after.

The rest of the time, it's crap.:

Primetime is an unplayable lagfest.

The remaining time is full of the AD zergs holding the whole map.

Been this way for years, if they haven't fixed it by now, can't see they ever will... Just a shame there's no alternative game out there.

This is the exact reason why they dont fix their stuff, they have no competition.

I had fun with Dark Souls 3 PvP lately, you might wanna check that one out

Played the game during the weekends and it is just lagfest. Solo, small man, zergsurf, 1v1, doesn't matter. Lags all the same everywhere and they even were gracious enough to incorporate rubberbanding with 0 cc break. Well done, ZOS. Well done. Not worth the sub for sure lol. Almost all my deaths during the weekends were lagging out completely to the point that all I can do is just dodge roll hoping for no undodgeable cc hits me. That or CC breaking the same thing 3~4 times and still rubberband back to CC'd state and die. Really, if the lag wasn't this bad, it'd be worth a sub but as is, the game in general feels like just swimming in the thick goo, going nowhere.

Pad that bag. Stop doing writs. Use the gold you have to supplement for things like potions. Unsub.

That's the path I've chosen.

Agreed. My entire guild left the game and iv been unsubbed for a long time now. I play since when the game is running okay its really fun. But I refuse to give money to support a company that keeps rolling out things like different color mounts and clothing instead of fixes for the game. If they could fix the issues with the server the pvp would be so much more fun.

Cancelled my sub again. No more pre orders for sure. Might resub in a couple months of the new DLCs bring needs changes and balance.

I have always subbed on and off, depending upon content releases.

I have 27 days left in my sub and I'll probably not sub again until another non-dungeon DLC is released because that is my normal practice. I'm satisfied with the game, but I'm not interested in paying to repeat content. Since I am a hoarder and dependent on the crafting bag, that usually means taking a break from the game.

Played since beta and PVP is in the worst state I've ever seen. Close to quitting too.

Saw a post that ESO is in the Steam Top 25 for downloads in 2018. Get the feeling that as long as this is the case, PVP won't matter, unfortunately. Feels bad man

That really depends on the studio.

If the studio is interested in making their game better, then top 25 sales are an indication they are on the right track, not that they have arrived. The business decision to keep investing is based on expected continued sales due to the additional enhancements to the game above and beyond what was originally paid.

If the studio is just interested in sales, then top 25 is the sign that they have arrived, so they can scale back on the efforts and focus on a new game while they milk the old one. If they are not a top 25, and don't look like they are going there, that is not incentive to do better, it is incentive to hurry up and try with another game.

This time I'm really wanting to cancel my sub, I dont care for the pve side much and only used sub for the craft bag and bank space.

Sadly this is the only game I really play and like the combat system for the most part. I refuse to continue to pay zos for a broken assh game.
