Why can't I use invisibility potions in PVP.

vegabondgamer
It took me almost a year to max out my potion making crafting skill. To make invisibility potions to be used for PVP. Why cheat me out of being able to use it when I'm running. That's exactly what the potion was made for. So I can retreat while running to turn invisible.

I think ZOS needs to answer this question why you think my year long study in crafting potions, to lvl 50 cp 160 via your pick of mage college in tamriel, that my invisibility potion should be treated badly and worse than a level 1 Nightblade? Why can't I and how is it unfair for me to learn invisibility and not be a nightblade?

I should be better than a level 1 nightblade. I'm a master thief and a Silencer, I own both stealthy DLC's. I have more right to invisibility than a nightblade level 1 noob.

I should be able to run and drink a potion. I can drink a cement mixer while running, eat a hamburger while running and smoke a cigar while running and you wont let me drink an invisibility potion? That doesn't make any sense because you let level 1 nightblades go invisible while running.

I went to mage college and now because it dosen't work I want to burn all the mage colleges to the ground in Tamriel.

What are you saying in the game. That education is futile and you got to be born with knowledge? If you have to learn something it's only second rate knowledge.

Update the game so I can run and use my invisibility potion when withdrawing from PVP. Other potions don't do that, you can tripot on the run why not invisibility on the run too? Nightblades at lvl 1 do it.

You mean you can't use it while "holding down shift"-running?

That's what I thought, but then I remembered someone mentioning to me that you actually have to stop moving to use them..? Is that was this is about?

Why don't you just make speed+invisibility potions? Then there's no reason to run.

Hmmm... I thought OP was complaining that running broke stealth.

I can use all my other potions while running except for Invisibility. Often I have to totally stop to use it. The game makes the sound so it knows I used the potion but if I was running it doesn't work. Tells me I can't use it while running with a notice in the corner. Every single time this happens I'm saying, "That is what the invisibility potion is for!!!"

Nightblades do this at level 1 usually when running. I just think with a year into potion craft leveling and the use of Mage College. My invisibility potion should be better than a level one nightblade. I traveled all over Tamriel learning the trade of Master Thief and Master Assassin while visiting mythical mage college islands to perfect this invisibility potion. Just to feel I got a bum education in the process.

Strange, I can't use any potion while sprinting. Just like I can't fire off skills while sprinting. If you mean running like normal fast walking then I can use every potion while doing that. The invisibility just breaks if you dodge roll or start sprinting, which is normal and coherent with any other source of invisibility.

... My invisibility potion should be better than a level one nightblade. ...

Have been using Invisibility potions for years now--first started playing with the during the PC Beta
Personally use them on my Nightblades as an escape tool precisely because Invisibility+Speed is such a powerful mixture and is generally more reliable for escaping combat than Cloak

Invisibility potions do face all the same limitations as Cloak does tho, so perhaps my positive experiences with them have been due to not expecting them to function without said limitations

'Cause being invisible is creepy. I mean, you have to be nekkid and all... And if you're a Lizard... Ewww...
