Can we stop this nonsense of charging 150 dollars for limited time housing??? Ridiculous and shameful all wrapped up in one. Do I have to buy these overpriced homes? NO! Do I need them to play the game??? NO! But I am sorry that I think housing prices should be reasonable and am unwilling to pay 3 times the price of the actual game to buy a so called "notable home". What target audience are you aiming for ZOS? Its definately not the average gamer with a subscription. Your basically putting holes in your game where people cannot partake because of the high price tag. Can we get whoever comes up with these inflated prices replaced with someone that is not so out of touch with the price points in this game??? 150 dollars!!! Really?????

Me, i bought it. Its called a "Notable" home for a reason. People who want it, will buy it. Theres plenty of other housing option for what you call the "average gamer". Unfortunately for you, these homes are not targeted for those players.

I'm with you OP. The Crown Store only "Notable" homes are just nothing more than whale bait, and yeah I'll likely get some backlash for saying that but it is true.
I like the Ebonheart Chateau, Daggerfall Overlook, and Serenity Falls Estates cause they are Notable houses, large and fun to work with, and CAN BE PURCHASED WITH IN GAME GOLD as an option.

I mean honestly... Can't there be a bit of leeway? Maybe a nice sized crown store house that is 50 bucks? Does it HAVE to be 150 bucks? Some of us would like a nice house for an affordable price. Not a price that I could buy almost two new games to play at.

Standard business practice is to adjust prices to what sells. It seems these homes are selling.

I am just getting tired of almost every new house that they release being $100+, crowns only, and limited time.

The price tag doesn't bother me nearly as much as the extremely limited time only nonsense. And the timing of this one especially since it's right after a national holiday that a lot of people spend a lot of money on. My other issue, especially with this house, is I feel they made it as huge as possible, as lazily as they could, just to put a bigger price tag on it. If the ship had been made huge and really impressive, fine, but it's not. They also know you can't decorate the ruins and the ship and the beach with only 700 items but they sell it anyway. The greed is just too obvious with this house.

It is excessive. They would make more if lowered. Its difficult to justify paying for home in the first place, but then you list for 15k crowns is just greedy.

Exactly! If you pay $100+ for a house you should be able to decorate it the way you would want to. You shouldn’t have to pick and choose what area to decorate due to the limited amount of item slots that you are given. I have passed on many of these huge, crown only homes for that very reason.

ZOS will keep raising that price as long as people buy it. I wouldn't be surprised if we see $1000 pixel houses within a few years. The higher the price, the more "exclusive" it feels to the whales and whales love exclusivity. Why pay a ton of money for something that everyone can get? That's not special at that point. If you're one of only a small handful of people with [insert shiny thing here] then you feel a sense of pride and accomplishment even if you had to open your wallet to get there.
