Depends.

In a group and coordinating your synergies it's OPAF. It's also super strong for a necro that has a skill they can synergize themselves....other than that, it's junk. It really just depends. It's OP when used in certain ways for sure. The casual solo player won't get much use out of harmony afaik.

The problem is necros abusing their self synergy and ball groups stacking necro + templar + DK synergies.

I dont PvP, so not a lot of transmute gems to spare and not a lot of synergies in PUGs

True, but in truth, a group that puts in the effort to coordinate their builds should win against the group that doesn't, all else being equal.

I have started to notice an uptick in this ball group scenario. When it leaves the niche market and becomes more mainstream because of the power it allows then there is a problem. Will be interesting to see how it develops. Heh died to a ball group the other night and there were 4 boneyards up at the same time just covering the ground. Could become problematic.

I've always wondered about it, but never seen it used in any build.

I was in a recent group where it felt like I was constantly using synergies there were that many flying around... perhaps in these circumstances it could be really beneficial.

When you're tanking vet trials it's incredibly worth it. You should be getting a ton of synergies to hit anyway, so it ends up being super effective.

I haven't used it in non-tanking situations, but I would expect it to be far less useful outside of tanking (unless you've got a coordinated group that you've built around synergies I guess).

Every organized pvp group now, from as small as 2 to as large as 24.

Edit: even a solo necro, with a self synergized boneyard paired with their slam ult can do huge burst.
