hi...one of the sets i use on my magblade is Torug's Pact...

i'm thinking of going back to using decrease health (oblivion damage) enchants...

i was just wondering - can i use those enchants on both my main hand and off-hand weapons?

i know there are some funky rules regarding enchant procs on dual wield weapons...

If u have the same enchant on both weapons, both enchants share the same cooldown so only one of them will ever proc at a time.

The same enchants use the same cooldown, meaning using decrease health on both dw weapons would be a waste. Even using multiple of the same enchant on different bars would be a waste.

Would advise that if you're going dual wield that you use a shock or flame glyph on the other weapon.

    thank you so much...

always good to have super smart folks around...as long as they're not planning to overthrow the universe or anything :)

    thanks again...

i think the last time i used oblivion glyphs i used frost as the off weapon enchant...

i need to give it some more thought...

almost reached level 50 on my jewelry crafter, so i'm gonna give the torug's pact and sload's semblance a quick try before it itself gets nerfed to oblivion...

not sure yet what monster set i'll use with them...velidreth or grothdarr maybe...i've only really collected the golden's monster sets...

I wouldn’t use oblivion enchant with torug’s pact. The perks from torug’s increase your enchants damage by quite a lot, and getting them to crit is biggly huge. With oblivion, you simply can’t crit at all.

thanks @Zeromaz ...great point, you're absolutely right...

in all my time in cyrodiil (two and a half years and counting) - I have not received one single hate/rage whisper...

I've killed thousands...still have yet to receive any salt...

I'm hoping if I can get enough oblivion damage to show up on someone's death recap - I might just get one...

just from spending so much time there in cyro - I can get away a bit with using a "sloppy" build...

I just wanna mess around and see if I can have some fun with it...

I'm gonna use infused weapons and gold them out just for this...

ugh, now you all have me really thinking - I was hoping to duplicate a shieldbreaker/sload's semblance recap which would affect any low health, blocking/shielding targets...

now though I'm concerned about the global cooldown time on those oblivion enchants...

exactly how long is an enchant cooldown time?

For your general damage enchants, 4 seconds. This includes oblivion, shock, fire, cold, poison, and disease. With torug’s and infused i believe its 1.5 seconds.

If you want to get hate spam, throw the damage undead glyph on your back bar and use that against vamps. Your CP increases it, as it is magic damage. With torug’s and infused it hits harder than most ultimates will...its especially juicy when it crits

thanks again zero - i really appreciate it...

i had forgot about the whole enchant cooldown thing:

at this point - i need to remind myself just how many of these "interesting" set combos i've come up with in the past have been huge fails...

okay, i'm not getting my hopes up too high...i've literally been thinking about this since i first heard they were going to deploy the sload's semblance set...

There’s not much benefit to using both infused weapons. If you have just your off-hand weapon infused it halves the cool down on both weapon enchants. The 30% magnitude increase will only be on your off-hand enchant, but going to Nirnhoned or Sharpened on your main hand should more than make up for that.

Keep in mind, Nirnhoned won’t increase enchant damage but Sharpened will

Oblivion dmg is still BIS for a torug / infused build

On a mag nb though I’m not sure if you’ll be landing enough LA weaves to make it worth while.

Blade cloak will proc a 4s dmg enchant like oblivion but it won’t proc a 10s enchant like wep dmg increase.

What you really want to do is get a lightning fire or ice staff torug / infused and use wall of the elements

Believe it or not, this is a good change. Being able to get 100% of 1 trait(nirn main hand) and 150% of another (being infused is a cool down reduction and a increase the amount of the enchantment) in is not good for diversity. Now you might see other traits used in the off hand.
