When is the outfit bug getting fixed ??

I am so frustrated by the annoying outfit bug keep putting my outfit on so annoying and taking me out of my RPG immersion by keep having to switch every 5 mins please ZOS fix this !!!!

I’m on ps4 eu and it’s gotten worse it’s driving me nuts I can put up with the lag and freezes but this :

Is it a disguise you have to equip? It will always do that if so.

I updated my 'outfit 1' to the exact same as my armour because it was driving me curly wurly cuckoo too, it'll cost you some gold but at least it won't bug you anymore.

Nope, because when I travelled to another zone it defaulted back to the outfit I had originally. Had to set a new outfit to get it to stick

What? Aren't you able to pay like 100 gold for each piece to undo the outfit? So your Outfit 1 becames "nothing", doesn't it?

Erm, cough, it's bugged for some of us, has been since the last patch. Zos are aware.

What I did was the only way I could stop it from reverting to the outfit I originally had.

I'm on Xbox One and have the same issue. It always defaults to outfit one on logout.

it re applies my outfit. I have to open collections, select the outfit like I'm actually applying it, close collections, then select no outfit to get it off. Every little loading screen, not just zoning.

Well its August now. Guess what? Still no fix for this terrible outfit system bug since June. Promoting next DLC and new CRATES must be more important

The problem exists on PC NA. The outfit keeps adding itself. The kicker is that it costs gold to "empty" the parts in the outfit, which I have willingly paid because nobody's got time for that.

It's a pain in the greaves.

I understand there is a fix on the way.

Still bugged (for about 3 months now). It was ok / avoidable for a while by clearing the outfit completely. However, now it's affecting my hat / no hat look, and is happening not just when I switch zones (about 10% of the time) but also when using crafting stations (about 15% of the time).

Note I don't actually use the outfit feature. I re-craft things with the look I want because I'll hybrid different sets and how they look reminds me of what I'm wearing. (Outfits would prevent this unless I had about half a dozen outfit looks, which, no thanks.)

I am on Xbox NA. Still happening on all 6 of my toons. I have submitted a few tickets, and get the same response, that they are aware and are working on it. Nothing has come of it yet. It is really frustrating. I don't always want to wear my outfit when I have actually crafted a nice looking set of armor/weapons.

Every time I switch Zones, go through doors etc....it goes back to my outfit, even though in the character screen, it shows my outfit is not selected.

I can’t turn my outfit off now as soon as I exit where it says your outfit name it’s back on this is stupid now . Zos please fix this with update 19

There are about 10000 threads for this here and in the Bug Report forum, and on one of them people are reporting that this was fixed with the new update even though it is not in the patch notes.

I am PC EU. As far as I can tell bug is fixed, so I can have my crafted look on permanently no problem. This is good because my oldest toon has good looking armor, his outfits do look better but I still like the original look and its come back to playable again:-).

On PC: If you encounter a bug with the outfits, or non-outfit being removed inconsistently (i did), simply try to activate/deactivate the hidding helmet - it always worked for me.

Hoping it might helps some if you got the same issues I sometimes encountered with my beloved outfits...

So, out of curiosity, why would you make an outfit and then just not use it? And even actively not want to use it.

That doesn't seem very smart, more like a waste of gold.

Its been bugged for ages now still not been fixed, Zos said they know there is an issue and will fix it but nothing since..

Basically if you add an outfit and then change to your default clothes (what you are wearing) then teleport, wayshrine, open bags, or do solo dungeon etc you outfit will be back even though you changed it..

Its usually after a loading screen.. but not always..

Because occasionally you'd like a change want to see new gear you equipped etc and you don't want to remove an outfit because it costs a fortune..

I don't think anyone ever created an outfit he does not want to use (?). Yeah, outfits costs gold (and crowns to unlock 1st), but even if you have lets say 3 outfits for your character, you may use them all with different frequencies. For example:
0. no - outfit: Your heteroclite equipment you rarely use. If you crafted it yourself or just like it anyway, you may still use it.
1st outfit slot: The free outfit slot. e.g., some medium-armor you'll use for questing.
2nd outfit slot: Bought with your 1st token for this character. e.g., some heavy-armor for raids.
3rd outfit slot: Bought with your 2nd token for this character. e.g., some light tenue for fun to gather with friends.

Outfits are mostly made for role-players that enjoy their characters, that's no more waste of gold than breathing is a waste of dioxygen : (
