I made a stamina warden but i prefer my magblade over everything.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."
Tested both on dummy, stamina dps sucked compared to my mag dps, and no ward or shield, and can’t be ranged running around, so why play stam more this patch?!
Magblade was the first I started when I came back in April after 2 years away, now I am levelling up a stamblade. When these two are up to crafting and enough skill points going to investigate other classes finally after nightblades from the start. I have no idea what though.
Yeah, my magblade is easy to play and relaxing, but the stamblade is much more rewarding because of the work. I like them both for different reasons.
Stamina is in less of a good spot this patch by a small margin in general. But both magicka and stamina are equally viable. I don’t see a major tilt in the spectrum either way. However, as always there is an abundance of stamina NBs and Magicka Sorcs, but Id be surprised if that ever changes.
stamina is for the people i hate in imperial city.

As you can tell by my sig. Magicka before patch and after patch.

CROWN CRATES: It doesn't affect gameplay, it's not mandatory, it's cosmetic only. If it helps to support the game and ZOS, I support it! Say YES to crown crates.
But then, since the game launched I've played Magicka characters nigh-exclusively.
I've tried Stamina characters here and there, but there's always a survivability issue that I can't seem to get around. Magicka characters just seem to fit my play style in MMORPG's more than Stamina characters, and by a wide margin IMO.
I'm not crapping on Stamina characters, mind you, I just can't seem to get them to work nearly as well for me as my Magicka characters.

I play almost entirely solo, and when I'm in a group it's with other casual players who don't worry about whether you're following flavour of the month builds. So I pick a general build for my characters as I'm levelling them up and then stick with it regardless of what's happening in this patch or rumoured to be happening in the next one. Sometimes I'll change the skills I use as a result of updates, but I won't completely change my characters builds.
I have a few who are almost entirely magicka or stamina, but most of mine are hybrids because I find them more fun to play. No they're not as easy, or 'optimal' or whatever else you want to call it, but since people are forever complaining that this game is too easy I doubt that's a problem. (And if it is the fact that I'm not using any champion points is probably worse.)
