Unfathomnable Darkness?

The Clockwork set “Unfathomnable Darkness” looks very appealing to me, especially the thought of a murder of crows around you.

But there’s two questions I need to ask...
  1. Has anyone ever used this set before, and if so, is it worth using?
  2. Is it available in the Guild Stores, and if so, how much does each piece cost?

    Hi
I’m currently using this set on my main stamplar with another set it has 10 % chance the crows will come up I really like it only thing is sometimes they will attack an enemy when u don’t want them to eg sneaking or already fighting a bunch of enemies . I bought mine mostly from guild stores the weapons are most expensive. I bought mainly blue quality an improved them to epic (purple)

its probly the only set that will target a nightblade even while in cloak and knock them out of it.

But maybe they changed it with Summerset. I tested it before.

I can't even manage to make it better than hundings, spriggins or briarheart. So there must be more to using it than swapping out one damage set for another.

Stamblade main, but I've tried it on stamdk and stam sorc as well. I suck with those classes though.

I like it, it's good fun for PvE, never tried to PvP in it though. Don't wear it when you're doing Dark Brotherhood/Thieves Guild quests though because it hits enemies when you don't want it to and breaks you out of stealth. It's cheap as anything in the guild stores now, too, so you're not losing much if you decide against using it. Disclaimer: I love crows!

I tried this set but it drove me insane.... the sound of the constant cawing of the crows! With a high crit build, the cawing is endless... especially when you're doing content that involves almost constant combat.

one of the best animation sets in the game...

I use that (along with maw of the infernal and marksman) on my khajit stamina warden whom spends most of his time in cyrodiil...

I use it mostly for the animation...not a terrible damage set, sorta useless though for ranged combat...

does work well with steel tornado...

oh yeah - real cheap and plentiful set to pick up at guild traders...can probably put together 5 pieces for less than 15k...

Or general questing / exploring if you use stealth a lot.
Hint, an proc set will work even better relatively if your rotation/ dps is bad.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I use it and love it. I combine it on my Warden with the Red Mountain set and Selene's. I have birds, crows, a bear, a SHADOW bear, beetles, and a mountain throwing lava at you. The only thing I'd be careful with is when they're still active after combat. They WILL agro neutral targets and possibly make you incur bounty if you don't have "allow attacking innocents" turned off.

As far as acquiring it, it's really easy to get from doing Clockwork dailies (4 of them). You can also purchase from guild stores for a few hundred gold.

I have used it before and was very satisfied with it, got all five pieces by just wandering around Clockwork City and doing quests. One of the best sets I've worn to date.

Use that set as Weapons+Jewelry so you can go 5pcs on armor with a different set(e.g. Hundings or Automaton). The duration of the crows are long enough to keep them safely on the backbar without having the 5pcs active.

I use it with my bosmer stamblade, along with bone pirate and selene. Love it.

I pull nice dps and aoe damage, while having no resource issues.

Whilst being really good dps set, it is pretty lorefriendly, when used with selene and bosmer. You know, summoning animals 'n stuff.

If you have crafting skills, green or blue stuff is like 500g / each, jewelry around 1k - 2k if i remember correctly. Cheap anyway.
    NB enthusiastic:
    1. Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE
    2. Know-it-all elf Magblade - Healer / PvE & PvP
    3. Hate-them-all elf Magblade - Destrostaff AoE monster / PvE
    4. Cyrodiil-Refugee stamblade - Stamina Tank / PvE

    Go dominion or go home

Nightblade-Hipster. I played Nightblade before it was cool - from 1.5 onwards.

With 2h items counting as 2 items, you can run 5-5-2 on both bars easily now. I usually do that with a set, one is jewelry/weapons (bow, 2x daggers) for one 5 pc, then chest, belt, pants, gloves, boots for the other set. That leaves helm and shoulders available for a monster set.

I'll also use the jewelry/weapons as a set if I'm using a set that doesn't come in a specific weight. For example, I use Bahrah's Curse set on my tank for the healing. That rarely drops as heavy, so instead of farming for heavy pieces, I get the weapons and jewelry. I also save the monster set as my off-weight pieces for the undaunted bonus. If I'm a tank in heavy armor, my monster set pieces will be light and medium. On my stam dps in medium, the monster set will be light/heavy.
