Nightblade question about morph

So I PUG a lot, just started a magica nightblade coming from sorcerer main.

And I was thinking how significant is the loss in DPS if I morph path of darkness to refreshing path instead of twisting path? I figured it might be worth it to sacrifice a few 1000 dps just to provide a bit of healing? if people live DPS goes up.

Same goes for strife, should I morph it into funnel health instead of swallow soul? Since funnel health will always work but swallow soul only provides the 8% healing buff when you are on the bar it is slotted, and 8% isn't all that much.

Please share your thoughts since I'm not an experienced nightblade

Since they nerfed the damage of all the morphs of the skill, I 100% use refreshing path. I lost like 1k damage with the nerf to the skill as a whole and switching to refreshing path but I now output 10k hps between funnel health and refreshing path, which is more than some of the healers I have got in the group finder.
