So, I saw a Khajit riding on the back of a lion mount with a cat pet following it around. I got to thinking, that’s pretty weird.
It’s analogous to a human strapping a saddle on the back of another larger, malformed, quadrupedal naked human that can’t speak and riding around with another smaller naked quadrupedal, non-speaking, human chasing them around.
Heh.
I tried to write out a "I heard you like cats" joke, but I failed.
You could see it as if Humans rode Gorillas as Mounts, and then has Chimpanzees as pets, since we're all a part of the same Mammal family. It's the same way for Khajiit and Senche.

ESO, honestly, is more true to the lore than any Elder Scrolls game has been in a long time. That's one of the reasons why I'm excited to see their take on Elsweyr.

When I witness an event like this, I litterly just stand there glaring
Yes, dislike the Pahmar who is named senche, worst in reaper march there you fight some Khajiit bandits in an delve they have lions rather than senche, its one place there they would fit perfect.Darkstorne wrote: »ESO, honestly, is more true to the lore than any Elder Scrolls game has been in a long time. Eeeeessssh. It is when it comes to Khajiit representation I suppose, but only because there are four types visible instead of only one like you see in BGS TES games, and only then to sell you kittens and mounts, and don't forget the Pahmar were used as generic tiger mobs to kill which is pretty awful. We'll see if the likes of Dagi, Tojay, and Ohmes show up in an Elsweyr chapter.
After how ludicrously lore-breaking the visual design of Valenwood and Summerset are, and how each province pretty much only has one architectural style used in every single town and city (imagine Skyrim where every city was Whiterun) I think it's a huge stretch to say this is a lore friendly TES game. But I can see why it isn't, given they tried creating assets for every single province from day one, instead of focusing on one province at a time where they could have done them all justice. It's still a fun game for what it is, if you can look past the constant lore issues.
its important to match the Mount and pet to the Khajiit fur.I have a black Kjajiit that rides the black Senche Lion and of course there is a cute little black cat that follows them everywhere.
They are definitely a family.
