We all die in Cyrodil. A LOT. I'm a heavy armor healer with BiS gear on and a tons of hours logged in there and I get my butt handed to me on a pretty regular basis. Hard. The more you play and the more risks you take, the more you're going to die. It's just the nature of the beast.
Don't let it discourage you and don't beat yourself up over it. The trick is to always try to look at your death recap to see what killed you, then learn how to counter those things. You gain strength by learning how to overcome your weaknesses.
No matter what gear you use or what class you are, learn how and when to block and roll. That will make you more tankier than any crappy set or build ever will.
