weakening enchant and PvP

howdy folks,

i am sorry if this has been discussed already, but the "search" function gave me a lot of gibberish and no real answer. so here's my question - does weakening enchant on weapon work in PvP? meaning does it lower the damage of enemy player attacking me? or is it just for PvE and works only on mobs and bosses?

It does. It's a debuff. Any damage that they output on any target (not just yourself) has reduced damage for the duration of that debuff.

It also affects their healing

Really strong enchant if you ask me

i was kind of thinking about Warden tank (in PvP) wearing Bahraha's Curse and Torug's, with 1H+Shield with that weakening enchant as a defensive thing plus 2H (weapons are Torug's) with Oblivion glyph for damage. so i needed to pick your brains (thanks for your input, guys, by the way) if that weakening enchant isn't going to be a bad choice. so far it looks just fine..
