Do abyssal geysers, make a group/join a group and run geysers. Usually you get a powdered mother of pearl or clam gall from the shell trove. I have a nice little stack going from farming jewelry to decon.
    Vet Maelstrom makes me cry.

Looking for giant clams to farm this is a waste of time, in one hour you could have done at least 6 geysers and probably got at least 3 of them  But i agree, right now they are pretty rare and a pain to farm.

Not usually. It’s less than a 1/3 chance—the rarest of what you can get out of clam/ pearl/ other thing I can’t recall.

It really is tedious. And it’s a good thing I’m rich cause I just buy them and save myself the headache. 4h of farming (circling every geyser on the island) for 10 pearls taught me that lesson.

You can make great poisons and pots, and the stam food (NOT A DRINK) is great for tanks or stam dps.

Or buy them off guild traders. I often find making money and buying stuff with them takes far less than it would have taken me to just farm the stuff directly. Time is really the only valuable resource in game and I'd rather not waste it :)

    Everyone saying just do geysers....

The drop rate from those is horrible too. They only drop water hyacinth 90% of the time. Furthetmore farming geysers is a nightmare because there is no pattern. You can kill one and go clockwise or counter clockwise and neither geyser will come up then someone will say the one across the island is up.

Now that i finished my psijic motif set im done farming those damn things. Its a shame when Zos does not make content rewarding enough to be worth doing.

This is too rare for an alchemy material. I spent an hour going around the whole island and found 1! The grind of summerset in general is just poorly implemented. Jewelry crafting will be great once zos changes the grind. As it stands, it's the exact opposite of what it should be. Make an entire gold wardrobe is cheaper and MUUUUCH less farming than 1 jewelry piece.

With how easy it is to craft and jump to decent stats in any content, why has summerset released such a ridiculous grind? Killed it for the people with other things to do besides game all day...

And there you have the crux of the matter...have to keep people grinding. Does it matter if it takes you 3 months to make a piece of gold jewelry? You know how long it took for Imperium to show up on the golden vendor when I waiting for it? OVER A YEAR...I would have been thrilled to get jewelry in a measly 3 months. Get real.

But that's waiting. 3 months of waiting while you do something you enjoy is different than 3 months of actively wasting play time farming for 1 pc. Get real.

As it stands the were many set ups i wanted to try, I'll get to give maybe 2 a shot. That's the complete opposite of what the crafting system should be imo.

This is not a like to like comparison. We are discussing reagents and you are bringing up golden jewels. One of this is not like the other.

Caius stands over the Thread in his true Lycanthrop form, gazing at it as if in deep contemplation

Years ago Caius was chosen by Hircine to be his werewolf champion, many blessings were granted to Hircine's First Fang. One of the lesser known gifts is his enhanced sense of smell, usually this Blessing helps him track down his prey, but today it will help him bring a darker form of magic to its knees.

In the beginning when Hircine's transformations were new to Caius, he wasn't able to form complete thoughts without the beating of his oversized Wolf heart interrupt them, a drum of war driving his bloodrage, calling him to the hunt. Now after years of practiced calm of that of a seasoned hunting hound, there was nothing but clarity in the great beast's mind.

The distinct smell of rot and decay twisted by magical suspension usually means one of two things... Vampire... or in this case with the added hint of freshly turned soil... Necromancer... Caius thought

The Black Werewolf proped itself up on its hind legs let out a piercing Howl that shot past and resonated the tree trunks for miles around. Within moments a volley of echoing howls filled the night air, a noise that would make the bravest adventure's hair stand on end.

Tonight the pack Hunts a thread Necromancer.
