The costume is based on the one from Skyrim but very badly done. She also had crows on her arms there!

I don't care anymore. I've already finished the Summerset questline and I was very disappointed when I met Nocturnal. Updating her now would be almost pointless, they've already allowed an extremely poor design to go live. Fixing it now is just a band-aid on their low standards.

I don't really mind the generic aspect of Nocturnal's appearance anymore. At first I was also taken aback, but if they shouldn't change the model anymore there are also possible lore reasons for her to look like this. After all she is the mistress of shadows and can change her appearance at will, so maybe it was on purpose of her to look like just another redguard out of a hundred? As plain and inconspicuous as she could possibly achieve, to make her opponent feel safe?
What I DO mind though is the low effort that obviously went into developing that model. Even with the goal of generic appearance in mind you can still do better than that. Like give her an appearance that at first glance looks like a simple NPC, but has some strange details that you only notice at a closer look, like strange eyes, a dark aura or anything that still screams at you that she is a daedric prince, despite her efforts to look mundane to you.

And that's maybe a bit off-topic now, but I always imagined Nocturnal to look different than her usual appearance anyway. It always seemed strange to me that the mistress of shadows would choose such an upfront outfit, especially after hearing the story about the cowl of Nocturnal, how everyone would only see the cowl and not the person underneath it (even though that curse only existed after it was stolen from her from the first Gray Fox).
So somehow I always imagined a figure wrapped in a dark cowl, a shadow covering her face so you can't see any shapes of it, surrounded by crows. Something way more mysterious and darker than any appaerance of her up to now.

I think it should stay as it is. So ZOS can continue to look at what they did, as if recalling a bad memory, to see a mistake made, some hurt suffered, and hopefully a lesson learned and not forgotten.

There is also the matter of the costume ZOS sold as Nocturnal's Robe in the crown store. If Nocturnal's clothing is changed in-game then how are all the people who bought that costume going to react? I think some of them will be on here screaming for their money back.

There are no winners here. I think it's time for us all to move on.

The devs [removed profanity] up and it should have been released as a better model from the start.

Now the dev's time would be better spent on things they could be doing to fix/improve/add to the game beyond a model players will look at for a total of 5 mins per character they do the quest line on.

Yes, oh PLEASE yes. Take the statue and add the Shadow Senche skin to it. I mean she is the Night Mistress, and the Unknowable. I mean its not to far fetched to just wrap her in that. At the very least dye that custom to black.

As a Nocturnal worshipper, it saddens me to see her so... lacklustre. An update would definitely be appreciated, but I'd be surprised if ZOS actually did one
