Please fix the black dye on newer motifs since Morrowind.

Why are almost all the newer motifs only dyeing a dark gray? Dreadhorn, Apostle, Ashlander, Ebonshadow, to name a few, now Fang Lair-which is a little bit darker but still not dark enough. I'm using Coldharbour Ash Black which obviously dyes fine on the majority of styles. Can you look into this? I can't imagine this is intentional.

It depends on the material's original shine and color on NPCs. Newer looks have been darker and more leathery so they tend to dye washed out.
You get the best results from something classified as cloth or metal and with an original light/white color, like the Cyrod Gentry Town Gown costume.

I don't know why this can't be changed easily, but it's a sad problem for everything.
