Yeah finally finished the Main Story quest. What is next?

After 4 years and on and off play and restarting so many characters, I finally go to level 50 and finished the main story quest. I see I am on Caldwell's Silver then it goes onto Caldwell's gold. I tried a bit of Google but didn't' really want to spoil it for me so want to make sure. I was in the AD and now I believe I am going to do EP. So does this mean I am EP now or am I still AD but just starting as if I was EP?
I read that you don't start the faction question unless I talk to a certain person. So are we suppose to do the EP quests now or do I just do certain quests that is in Caldwell's journal? Not sure if I should do just the quests or if I should try and do everything just like I tried when doing AD.
No spoilers please if it can be avoided, just want to make sure everything is fresh since I tried to do an EP character but gave up after level 10 so I wouldn't ruin it for me when doing it with other characters.
So should I do everything I see like normally? Should I go back and finish other quests I have done? Are the Mages Guild and Thieves Guild quest have to be done over again as well or they are not part of the Main Story quest?
Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

✭✭✭✭✭You are still AD. Through Cadwell's, all the quest givers won't care that you are AD and will view you like you are EP.
Go ahead and do all the quests you like, as Cadwell's Silver is just a guide to the faction's main quests in their zones.4 -

✭✭✭✭✭No worries, as stated, your character is still loyal to the dominion.
Cadwells kinda is supposed to play in some "alternate reality", showing you what would have happened if your character had fallen out of coldharbour into one of the other alliances...
...though since "one tamriel", it doesn't quite work that way in practice, since now everyone shares the regions...
But backstory wide, you are playing an AD character in an alternate reality with meridias magic making everyone think you are "one of theirs"...
So, enjoy the other alliance questlines with Cadwells, then go do Craglorn, Orsinium... possibly Imperial City too, if you are not scared off by heavy ganking... TG and DB can be done whenever you want, though those are best after cadwells, since many of the quests there might take you all over tamriel, and that goes better if you have all wayshrines unlocked...
And after that, technically, you can go for Morrowind and Clockwork City, and then Summerset, for the "daedric trinity makes trouble" storyline...2 -

✭The UESP wiki has all the quests nicely flow charted. The main faction story lines, Cadwell's and skill points heavily overlap.
