Put Major Maim as an area debuff in BG spawn points so people dont just sit there spamming from them

Can we please get some form of dmg debuff or inability to attack (such as how IC bases and doors work) in spawn points in BGs. More and more frequently teams just sit up in their spawn spamming snipe or magicka users just doing their normal stuff and due to the balances put in place to stop enemy entry into spawn (which i agree with) it means these players are freely able to just spam away while many people such as stam users not carrying skills like snipe and mag cqc users are being put at a significant disadvantage while enemy teams can reign down dmg on you and you cant do anything back. we need to disencourage this sort of behaviour by thus putting some form of debuff on these people while up there.

    Should also be a small protective zone around the landing point where you jump down so an enemy can't start popping you almost before you hit the ground.

    This only seems to be the issue if the ither two teams make the moshpit occur right below 1 tams spawn, and that usually happens if that team is outmatched.

    I whole heartedly agree with the fact that you shouldn't be able to sit up there forever and spam snipe/endless etc, but there also needs to be a buffer zone to limit camping under the spawn (seen NB's do this enough in deathmatch from my own and enemy teams to know that it's a factor).
    Maybe a buffer zone which pulls people out of stealth and applies a stacking dot to players not of that colour entering the buffer zone (think like chaosball dot, starts small and then increases each tick). The buffer zone doesn't need to be big or always active, like activates when a player spawns in that base, disappears when empty so the map itself isn't reduced all the time.

    I think BG's have a lot going and this idea if balanced correctly would further improve BG's overall.

    Yeah, but occasionally the big fight will spill out towards a spawn, which then leads to a team spamming snipe/endless etc from the spawn with no risk.

    Also, in certain BG's with open area (Foyada for example) snipe and other long range skills can hit you without being close to the spawn. I once saw a team of 3 blades sit up there spamming snipe for a good 2 minutes hitting people on the fringes of the centre section.
