What is the "General" rule on Lover vs Apprentice in PVP?

I know it might depend on your build, etc. But which mundus stone normally gives you the most damage in PVP?

Against light armor shield wearers Lover isn't gonna give you a whole lot.
Also gotta consider how wpn/spell damage affects heals.
The buff to heals is why I don't use lover3 -

Yeah exactly why i dont but was thinking about it working today, if i would get much more damage. Cause i have just seen many people use it on dummies for dps test. I know lover sucks against MagSorcs though lol.0 -

It's definitely BiS for PvE non group/non max penetration from other places.
For PvP it's all about opportunity costs0
