Guild name display

Is there a way to display guild names along with other character information when you look at them? Like how the gamertag, character name, title, and pvp rank usually are.

I found where I could turn it on in the settings, but then it is displaying everyone’s info over there toons heads all the time. I’d like to only see it when I look at them.

The guild name display is typically only present for characters that are wearing their guild's tabard.

Additionally, if you set the Nameplates to "Targeted" they will show up only when you mouse over another player.

Thanks, Varanis! I will try setting to “targeted”. That sounds like what I was looking for.

As another tidbit...

Guild tabards show overtop of outfits and armor, but are hidden when wearing costumes. If you have your guild tabard slotted and are wearing a costume, the guild name will still show up in your nameplate.
