MoltenVK is an unofficially supported hacked together approach; if a high profile game like ESO started to use it then in all likelihood Apple would intentionally break compatibility with MoltenVK.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vulkan_(API)
The only real solution to this issue is to use an API that is natively multiprocessor and since this application is not exclusively Microsoft based, now that MoltenVK is available to allow Vulkan to run on MACOS and iOS, the only solution to this issue is the Vulkan API.

Apple is throwing their weight behind trying to force developers into using solely metal to target their platform which makes developers all the more wary of trying to use workarounds. As long as Apple remains hellbent on driving everyone else out of their walled ecosystem, even if it's to the detriment of their own users, there probably will always remain a large uncertainty for developers. Apple is afterall paid a rather hefty commission by its users to make all the decisions for them and free them from the hassle of having choices.
"On February 26, 2018 Khronos announced that Vulkan became available on macOS and iOS products through the MoltenVK library.[4] Valve announced that Dota 2 will run on macOS using the Vulkan API with the aid of MoltenVK,[5] and that they had made an arrangement with developer The Brenwill Workshop Ltd to release MoltenVK as open-source software under the Apache License version 2.0.[6]
On May 31, 2018 optional Vulkan support for Dota 2 on macOS was released. Benchmarks were available the following day.[7]
"
If DOTA 2 is running on MACOS using MoltenVK with no interference from Apple then I think ESO would be just fine; DOTA is not a small game.

But in American English, we say "June twenty-fifth," so we format it 6/25/2018. Both formats make sense in the context in which they're used.
