Free chest? When or how do we get it?

I swear on my Xbox character when I was playing I got a free chest. Now that I am playing on PC my level 50 character doesn't have it. I am guessing that I developed him late when the level up bonuses came out that he didn't get it. Thing is, I am not sure if that is how I got the free chest.
So how do we get the free chest? If it is through level up rewards, is this per character or account bound? I have a level 8 character I am doing as well. If he gets the free chest, will my level 50 character get it as well?

✭✭✭✭✭This coffer is to be placed.in your home and all characters have access to it. While you only.get.one per account, you can place.the coffer any number of homes you own. NickStern✭✭✭The chest is once per account and you would have claimed it on the first character to reach the level it is awarded.
Which is level 18 It will be in your collections under storage if you ran a character through the level up process before.Edited by NickStern on June 21, 2018 6:25PM0
