Suggestion for tank DK

Hey all, I'm fairly new to the game, only started doing BGs a few days ago. I'm a DK tank, I've got like 40 points into health. Ive looked up some builds online but it seems like they are all geared towards cyrodil. I could use some help coming up with a viable build for BGs. Is there one, or am I screwed until I respect all those points out of health?

I could use help with both skills and gear, and that includes which traits and enchants to use on my gear.

Thanks in advance.

Alcast has a tanky DPS build on his site
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I'm a bit skeptical of a build with 0 gap closers, 0 stuns, and 0 proc sets. That sounds like a recipe for disaster. I'll give it a try, ,but experience in every other MMO says it's not going to work.

Most "tanks" in PvP are really DD builds with a high degree of mitigation, that can still dish out decent damage. Points in health don't really help you in PvP since your heals (Vigor, Rally) will scale from weapon damage & maximum stamina, and there are no "one shots" like those that PvE tanks need to survive, due to Battle Spirit. I've seen an ulti-regen build for PvP, but it was full stamina 1H+S/2H, 5 7th Legion + 5 Werewolf Hide + 2 Bloodspawn 5 Heavy 2 Medium. You can try that one.

Could try that harbinger set. Its a set that really benefits from stacking health. You could be an absolute SOB and pair it with sloads.

I'm not sure how the set combo will preform, but I'd imagine you will frustrate your opponents by just sitting on flag points and holding block.

Makes you think of an older brother slapping you with your own hand whilst saying, "Why are you hitting yourself?

PvP tanks are nothing but trolls since they can't kill anything. DKs are already pretty tanky when specc'd for damage, so you'd be better off choosing magicka or stamina and putting all your points into that, then using heavy armor and a more resistance focused monster set.
