PS4 NA: Gear Not Appearing on Ironsmithing Deconstruct or Improvement Tabs

I'm level 17 Ironsmithing and have the first tempering passive. Yet a great deal of my armor, whether I carry it with me (equipped, unequipped, locked or not) or keep in the bank, simply does not appear on the deconstruct or improvement tabs, so I can't work with it at all. For all I know, it's not appearing under Research either, but I haven't checked. Is this a bug or this related to my Ironsmithing skill line progress?

go2g✭NEVER MIND. I screwed up. Turns out the armor I couldn't find is actually considered clothing. So it can be improved at clothing stations. It will therefore not turn up at Ironsmithing stations. My bad.
