If overperforming is not connected to bug or exploit then yes those sets will stay untouched for atleast 1 full major update cycle. Sload is not the 1st set that was overperforming. There were sets in the past that were used even by more people at once then Sload currently is and those sets were also untouched until later major updates. Reasoning behind that is that developers dont want to make people upset by making constant changes to sets which could cause situations where someone golded out his gear and then few weeks later is becamed useless.

Yeah it took a while for Selenes and Vipers to be nerfed and that was some serious one hit kill bs. But imo ZOS should move faster on this stuff. I think that more of the community is frustrated by sloads than legitimately wants it in the game. A lot of people I’ve talked to about using are only doing so because they’re sick of not having that edge. There’s only a handful of griefers and people who use it because they can’t win otherwise. But it’s definitely not good for the health of the game. Proc sets are becoming far to relevant again. They should never be the overwhelming choice for damage. They should be supplementary sets, that complement certain play styles. Sloads and to some extent Zaan completely over power builds. Sloads especially you just slap on any build, from light attack bow spammers to stamina wardens to mag sorcs and it works on them all.
How hard would it have been to fit this in, no ones asking for it to be redesigned to something ground breaking. Make it do 1 magic dmg every one sec for 7 seconds for all we care and call it done

1v1 Sloads is very easy to counter, but when you attempt to 1vX (like many of the complainers about Sloads like to do) against multiple Sloads users, then the 1vX'ers get crushed and cry buckets of tears over it...
Even though I don't use the set and have no intention of doing so, I am glad they didn't nerf it...
I love watching those salty tears of the cheesers that are now being cheesed (and they absolutely cant stand it)...

maybe its not as widespread of a problem as the forums or .... sorcs? think it is?
there have been threads on how to counter = then come the screams but i have to change my build.
7 of us DAB today were fighting a sorc and i was sloading, and zaans, and knight slayer and he still killed a few of us before dying over and over....so, if sloads was looked into and it was found its NOT as effective as people have been screaming...maybe...? so it is counterable enough?
also, there have been threads of people HEARING about how good it is and trying it...but coming back with, "i don't get the hype...its not that great." <
if it was looked into and this was found to be the case, then, maybe....??? idk...
