I can hear singing in my house. Give bard assistant.

I was in my house (Gardner House) minding my own business when all of a sudden I hear this woman singing High Elf music. Couldn't find the source but it makes me want a bard assistant to add to my home.

You are not the first to request a bard for home use. I expect it would be a somewhat popular item for housing.

However I am not one of those who would use one. Not now anyway.

The wandering bard seems to follow me all over Tamriel. I have even heard it in Cyrodiil when I was trying to be sneaky. It's hard to be sneaky when you have a minstrel following you everywhere you go. Of course it's likely I am the only one hearing it, but I can never be sure.

I even had one follow me into Hel Ra Citadel once and followed me throughout the entire trial. He did not leave my side. He was always there singing his slightly flat bard songs to try to soothe me as I fought savage beasts. How he thought singing the same tune over and over again for 30-45 minutes would help me I will never understand. (It didn't.)

At first I thought it was funny, but now it is driving me to distraction as I search for the invisible singer whenever I hear him. I hear it at wayshrines as people bring one with them from afar. I hear it coming from the well next to the inn in Mournhold, right next to another bard who doesn't miss a beat of his own song, even though someone else is singing right next to him. The cacophony they produce together is awful.

Oh how I yearn for a magical toggle switch to turn off bard songs. That would make me happier in-game. The Log-Out button, while effective at diminishing the bards reverie, is not really what I had in mind.



TL;DR. Aaaarrrggghhhh!!!! run away, run away.

oh yes, I've encountered the invisible bard glitch so many times_ I'd love to have a male bard (Gideon Emery) in my house!

Why just to your home? When you can have your own personal ministrels accompany you and do their best to raise your morale...

I actually encountered this tonight in a delve. After killing the boss, I started hearing singing... looked around but found no one.

I think a Crown store minstrel to buy and place in your home would be a money spinner for ZOS.

I've encountered a bard in Cyrodiil. But She was EP and General. She was singing Ode to Queen Ayrenn. I've got a video of it and think I've wrote it here.

This happened to me as well a few months ago - pretty sure it was in a delve in Eastmarch. Though someone was trolling me. Never found the source
