Magicka petsorc build/questions.

First off I’d like to say for my petsorc that the mage mundus out performs any other, other than the lover and is very close to it. Basing all of my information from doing dps tests on 3 mil dummy with same rotation on all tests. Here’s where I get confused. Front barring Siroria with maelstrom staff on back bar and necro 5 pc always on. It’s pretty easy to keep the 20 stacks of Siroria up at all times on dps test so with Siroria, major sorcery and berserker enchant I’m at 3900 spell damage. 58.5k magicka and 42% crit. I average around 37-38k dps every time. Now if I switch back to my old setup with front barring moondancer(keep in mind I’m solo testing so no synergies to proc moondancer 5th piece) is still hitting around 36k? Does spell damage mean that little on petsorc? If I’m doing something wrong idk what it is. I heard there was a bug that wouldn’t let Siroria damage carry over to backbar but even so, I’m only on backbar 2 seconds every rotation and never lose any stacks.

Pet damage doesn't scale on SpellDamage at all, Max magicka only matter in term of Pet Damage (then CPs)

Yes I understand that but I’m only using one pet. I use other skills too. I just fail to understand how 600 spell damage only raises my dps by 1k.
