How is the game right now?

ThalmorJusticiar
Greetings to all.

Well as the title says. How is the game right now? I left 1 year ago as I felt a bit burned (but that is normal happens to all) but mostly was because I was bored and didn't find anything that suited me, from class to the most superficial thing you can think about, also crafting and those style books were a huge chore and expensive as hell, more than most MMO out there. But with this new expansion and Altmer being my favorite race I feel like it will be hard to avoid to stay out of the game much longer, that's why I would like to ask some info and opinions that can persuade or dissuade from play the game and most important don't throw money carelessly.

But anyway as I asked for the third time now. How is the game right now? Has changed/improved much? What kind of approach I should try?

How is the solo play going? And casual to mid core play with a bit of pvp?

Crafting is still an expensive chore. It's worth it, but it is a chore.

Generally speaking things are good right now. I will say, dont expect the game to run smoothly though.

    Morning,

I mean it's pretty subjective really. Why did you leave in the first place? Everyone gets burned out.
It depends what you enjoy doing. I primarily solo and duo occasionally, mostly in battlegrounds and IC, coming and going in waves of a few months at a time.

Realistically the game is in a great spot right now, there's still imbalance (Sload Lul) but it doesn't quite feel as prominent as a few years ago, and normally the pretty broken stuff is altered within a month or so. (The way it gets altered is also extremely subjective)

I'd say compared to a year ago it's in a great spot. Solo play feels great right now, especially with battlegrounds. PVE has tons of content, but Cyro performance is still abysmal.

It completely depends on you :)

So if we imagine as a single player game, it is very good, there are many quests and dailys, so nothing to say, there are also many crazy people who play only this way and they are happy.

Speaking of what really matters, that is the end game
    PVE:
Dungeons: They go well, only that the loot still can not attract too many players, they should study something different, such as choosing different types of loot or different types of loot depending on the class. Something that leads to playing the different alts too.
    Trial:
Well the short-term trials have got tired, the players want more spacious environments, something like SO.
Many players play randomly, it would be ideal to insert into the system a GF that also works for trials, say only in normal trials.

    PVP
BG: I like it, adrenal, the only flaw in my opinion are the latest maps, too small and remove some tactics. Cute the idea of the storm.
Imperial City: to be updated, the players quickly get tired of this city, perhaps it would be appropriate to divide the areas in the sewers and the part above where the flag is captured. In few words, new ideas are needed here.
Cyrodiil: This immense space still entertains the players, here instead of changing it would be better to add something, like pvp dolmen or portals Oblivion, but perhaps it is not even possible until they update the servers and eliminate the problems of lag.

Conclusions: The game for the moment is fine, but watch out for you programmers because the online players WANT!

BTW if I buy the new expansion and the dlc I have left. I really need ESO plus or it's only worth if you want the 10% XP bonus and the 1500 crowns reward? Or there are even more bonuses?

The other bonus to plus is the crown reward and the craftbag.

If you intend to do any of the crafting professions it is basicly required.
