Should ZoS Implement an Enhanced Target Dummy?

Sorry if this idea has been floated before (I don't recall seeing this exact idea), but what would you all think about adding the functionality to target dummies to provide the data PC/Mac players can get with the Combat Metrics add-on? Obviously the data is being captured and it looks like there is some important stuff on there, dot up-times, buff up-times, dps by skill/weapon, all kinds of information players can use to improve.

I've seen some reasoning behind why console users can not have Combat Metrics because Sony/Microsoft won't allow mods or can't access the data or other computer stuff I really don't understand, but I'm talking about ZoS adding this to the base game. Sony/Microsoft shouldn't have anything to do with that. (Maybe they do, correct me if I'm wrong.)

I have also seen people say that adding damage meters to dungeons/trials would increase toxicity and elitism in the game. I don't think that's an issue because a) this is just going to be displayed only on the player's screen after a dummy test, just like the simplified overall result we get on dummies now, and b) I would think this would diminish elitism because all players would have access to this tool which would help them improve.

Though the title says "for Console Players," I really think this should be part of the base game and available to all players regardless of platform. In fact, I would hate for this to be exclusive to the Crown Store. I think it would bring more enjoyment to the game for many players and it should not be locked behind a paywall.

Honestly, ZOS relies on addons too much. They should take a look at the top 10 or so most used addons, and work on integrating them into the base game.

There's no reason that it can't be done, as it's well within their means. There's also no reason it shouldn't be done, as this is all added functionality that was made because of the shortcomings of vanilla.

ZOS has an opportunity to really shape and deliver the top MMO experience on console. If they just put more effort into polishing that experience, it would give them a firm hold at the top, and would pay off down the line.

I don't think this should be limited to test dummies, but I agree that we need combat metrics.

To the 2 people who voted "More console pleb whining. Why don't you just play Mario Kart?". If you play on PC, and you use the combat metrics add-on (which I'm sure both are true), you are a special kind of hypocrite.

The only reason this data is not made available to console players is laziness. Obviously ZoS has this data readily at their disposal, all it would take is a popup that displays the data after each dummy parse (which we know is also already coded into the UI, just look at their annoying "In your face" crown store marketing popup every time you login).

Will they add it? Maybe after they get done reskinning the same 5 mounts for the crown store some more. I'm not going to hold my breath.

Yes. Combat metrics everywhere.

AND an enhanced target dummy. I'd love a dummy where you could turn on/off effects like major breach/fracture/ele drain/...

Quite sure Fallout 4 has mods on consoles so it's mainly the developer.
