There is SO much history to Elder Scrolls that not using it might actually be a detriment to the overall health of the game.
For some, ESO is merely the stepping on point. Morrowind, while thought fondly of by many who have been following the game for years, was a new and exciting direction.
Where does the game go next?
Imagine a game that integrates ALL of what has come before!
Bethesda is already (no doubt) conceptualizing Skyrim as a future zone.
After the whole continent has become fleshed out- where do we go next?
The Psijic Order adds much more to the game than just a story and game mechanic. What if the future of ESO is different TIME periods?
Most of the mapping is well on the way to be completed. Imagine being able to revisit Skyrim during the time of the Civil War!
Or seeing Timber Septim’s rise to power!
Or the Dawn Age. The possibilities are endless.
Is it possible? Would you like to see it? Would you pay to play a game that encompasses THOUSANDS of years of in game history? Would you be thrilled to see what time does to monuments, dungeons, and guilds?
