Cyrodil is about large scale AVA action .. BG's.. smaller Group action ... people need to understand this ..
You can still solo in Cyrodil it's just you need to really build for it... and yes you will still get ran over ... NB's still the kings of solo, and do very well.. Other classes need speed pots and swift now..
Small groups do well on Shore in Cyrodil.. don t forget that .. Shore is a hidden gem at times during primetime they can see 3 bars straight across...
PVP is good in this game if you stay away from Vevic and the embarrassing lag that persists there... Honestly I'm not sure why they do not fix it .. PVP is insanely popular in other games right now (fortnight) ...If they spent 1 week thinking about PVP and how to address it .. This would be a great PVP game..
When Camelot unchained comes out expect the PVP in PC to drastically decrease....Unless they start addressing the game breaking lag..

Lets start with the freezing and crashing in pvp now. This wasn't here last time i played but now around a dozen times an hour the game will just freeze for 5-10 seconds, sometimes these are perm freezes. Now if this was any other game there would be mass hate for it and the devs would be forced to fix it as fast as possible because when the game is just broke thats an important issue. Not to zos though it seems.
There is another proc meta... like really zos? There has been two different proc meta which made the pvp just terrible for 3 months. You've had to nerf it twice now and now your telling me theres another proc meta, this one suited for xv1 and zergs... Really, what a joke.
The new 'chapter', the new overpriced dlc is a joke as well. Ignoring the p2w aspects of it, the fact you've intentionally made the grind for mats/ tempers unnecessarily bigger that other skill lines just to artificially inflate the length of the content is stupid.
After quitting the game for a few months and playing games with good devs and looking forward to updates its a big shock when you come back and realise how bad this game is handled.
Of course there will always be people venomously defending the game, usually the ones who are unhealthily addicted to the game and will complain about it but still play it everyday for a few years.

im not defending eso but, they are working every time we see from them.
The overpowered proc meta that in 2 weeks of PVPing has only shown on my death recap a handful of times and has never been the reason I was killed.
No, they balance.leepalmer95 wrote: »dwemer_paleologist wrote: »they are allways making progress.

You sure? ever since i got the game every patch seemed to make the game worse.

They fix one thing, and break three more.
See? Balance.
I don't mean to excuse ZOS, but this is due to them having reworked the code to take advantage of multi-core CPUs, and having (hopefully just) teething issues. On PC you edit UserSettings.txt and set the number of worker threads to 1. Overall performance is reduced back to the previous patch, but it fixes the freezes.leepalmer95 wrote: »Lets start with the freezing and crashing in pvp now. At current prices, on PC EU, purple platings, at 20K, are twice of what Tempering Alloys cost in the past. If you are in the habit of golding out your weapons, then purple jewelry is equally doable. Just 4 platings needed, vs 8 gold tempers. I'm kind of fine with it, since purple has been the standard for most (of my) gear and many sets were never available in gold anyway.... the fact you've intentionally made the grind for mats/ tempers unnecessarily bigger that other skill lines just to artificially inflate the length of the content is stupid.

Prices are still askew. I don't want to give the game away, but if you compare prices for grains, platings, rings, raw, and refined mats, there is gold to be made from trading. Not without work, but it beats farming by a mile.

I'm on console, i don't care what they tried to do. The fact is the game freezes constantly multiple times an hour and has been doing for a while with no fix in sight. It's a disgrace it been allowed to go on for so long, is this was any other game with competent devs it would be fixed immediately.
Again the prices are whatever, the fact is they have made the grind of it artificially higher than what it should be. You decon any other purple equipment and you have a high chance of a purple temper, you decon jewellery and you get parts and you need 1 parts to for a chance to get 1 temper. Like i said it's a complete joke and a sad effort to prolong the 'new content' feel of the sad overpriced dlc they call a chapter. Also don't compare purple jewellery to golding a weapon, compare purple to purple and gold to gold.

From my understanding, consoles have hoops they have to jump through before they can push fixes out. So, unlike PC, we cannot get immediate fixes. Unfortunate, but the price we have to pay.

I actually disagree with you on that. Two reasons. One is that I think they are conscious of not devaluing trial loot too much, nor what the Golden sells. The same goes for vet dungeons. There have to be reasons to run them on vet, and purple jewelry has been one such reason. You can argue that should not be so and that those grinds were too grindy to begin with, but I think ZOS were merely careful not to upset the applecart too much. I kind of enjoy the rarity and high prices, since it helps with turnover in my guild store. With only 30 slots available, high priced (or stackable) items help with that.leepalmer95 wrote: »Again the prices are whatever, the fact is they have made the grind of it artificially higher than what it should be. I was BGing... I think Saturday at about 6-8pm roughly around there (mountain time, so like 10 pm for New York)
I am willing to guess it also has something to do with time
