Magsorc pvp monster sets

Hello, I was wondering what monster sets I should go for in battlegrounds and cyrodill, my current set up is:
225 cp
Front bar fire staff willpower (will be master staff soon)
Back bar and jewelry is shroud of the Lich
Body is shaklebreaker
All divines

I really like Engine Guardian on a MagSorc. It travels with you even when you Streak, it helps with sustain, and it can block you as a target to enemies.

Infernal Guardian is a popular one too because of the +max magicka and that it procs a lot due to shield spamming.

Infernal guardian is my all around favorite. Since you always need to cast shields anyway, with the high proc chance, it's a no brainer. Grothdarr is cool if you're running with a bomber group. Pirate skeleton is good if you're a vamp and have the undead passive. It will usually allow you to survive quite a bit longer when you get focused.

I would go with all impen if you've never pvped before or you will have a lousy experience. When you get better you can be more ballsy and drop impen.

If you use shields a lot, use Infernal Guardian. It puts pressure on people to not stand still, and in BGs, it can hurt. The set's also fairly easy to get.

Second this... engine guardian also procs necropotence I'll also add shadowrend the damage reduction is nice.

In PvP, survivability trumps raw stats, especially if you don't really have a way of exiting combat on short notice. This is why traits like impenetrable and well-fitted are more advisable to increase your chances of taking hits. Players dish out damage a lot faster than NPCs and all of a sudden 15-20k health doesn't seem like much at all if you die in 2 seconds flat.

This is why it's also not uncommon to see mages or nightblades in heavy armor builds. Players typically don't have the 3 million health of a dungeon boss, so there's really no need for your DPS to be insanely high. So you can forego divines in favor of defensive traits.
