MagSorc - 60K magicka without Necropotence

I saw a video of a magicka sorcerer dueling and his max magicka was ~60k. He did not have a pet out so I don't believe he was running Necropotence.

How could this be achieved? Not claiming hacks or anything, legitimately want to know.

No problem. From what I remember the Sorcerer had a really low stamina pool (so blue food?) and no pet. I also don't recall seeing any monster set proc so maybe 2 pieces of +max magicka?

You can get 64k with necro so with out u should be able tonget 60k with destruction mastery with out pets hers how.
how to do it ,i almost for got about that.
1. Mage mundas
2. Divines.
3. Undaunted
4. Bound agies.
5. Inner light
6. Ancient grace
7. Will power
8. Armor set with 4 k magika. Destruction mastery ..If not using necro.
9. Two half Monsters sets with set 1 bonus as max magica.
10. Infused on large armor pieces. i think gives a little more . Have not tested that.
11. Max blue food
Maybe there is something else if i think of it i will add

Thats with purple armor so with gold you could get a little more i suspect.

You can proc necro with engine guardian or shadowrend. That's what I do anyways.

Probably referring to the weapon changes that let 2h serve as 2 set bonuses, letting people have x5 armor set, a x2 monster set, a x2 jewelry set, and then equipping a willpower weapon for the magicka boost.

Two ring willpower. I dont run the 3rd piece willpower.

Its a pet build and pets scale with max magika. I can heal normal and some vet with just teillight

If your running pets i wouold take the 2k magik and run necro.

Aside from that if i take off ag and wp i lose 8k on my back bar. And 9 k on my front bar. So ag , wp and dm would be way better than just necro and dm.

Guess I should have prefaced that's what's sorcs do for pvp. Pve is not my specialty. I do know you are gimping yourself if you don't have a trial set in pve. I think most people run julianos + trial set + ilambris.

My Magplar uses the Willpower + Grace of the Ancients combo. With unmatched monster helms I can get to 54k easily even without Undaunted 9 unlocked. As much as I enjoy stacking magic - I like the bigger gas tank instead of the constant refilling of the smaller gas tank and can heavy attack for more burst regen - I’ve noticed a DPS loss above 50k without a monster set. Pretty sure if I felt so inclined I could approach 60 with a slight crafted set change - one of the crafted sets gives 2000 magic instead of 1049 like Julianos currently does for me, I could get 3% more with one more Undaunted level and then I could break my build and use the 2 other Mage Guild abilities if I felt so inclined.

TLDR: 60k magic is achievable without Necroptence even on a Magplar.

That much max magicka and it most definitely means a lot of other build aspects will be ignored, therefore rendering it nearly useless in PVP, if not completely.

It’s tough to say for certain because I’m on console but it’s enough to solo in Cyrodiil and I’ve never been kicked from a dungeon so I’m doing something right. Haha. I don’t run dungeons that often though.

I think a fair guess is somewhere in the mid 20s but I do much better against multiple targets than just one.

When I’m playing my standard build, I’m at about 51k magic, and easily buff in combat to about 3k spell power. I also use Illambris with a lightning staff with a fire enchant and the triple fireball so I have something proccing every moment it seems.

As for the build it’s 3 Grace of the Ancients, 2 Willpower, 5 Julianos and 2 Illambris, all divines and infused with magic enchants. Yes, I use a “PVE build” in PVP. I truly don’t think you need a “PVP build” if you’re a Magplar. Burst healing for 6k and casting a shield for 10k after battle spirit solves a lot of crit problems.

Ya crit sets are hot right now. I was running mechanical acutiy . I think the idea is mother sorrow. This patch.

Now that la and ha scale with max pools i am pushing the max pool atst to see what i can do. I am alazy ha pet play style.

Honestly i just want six pets . Jc is slow tho so thats my next build.

To this point, in PVP people have been bullied into wearing Impen so much over the years where it doesn’t pay all that much anymore to make a high crit build ... because you can’t crit anyone.

By slotting bound aegis, inner light, using dual stat food you'll easily surpass 60k magicka

I use this setup strictly for my back bar with my Wards, 5x spinner up front (I don't use bound aegis or mage light back bar though still 53k, disclaimer with s&b not resto)
