I've seen PvP groups that have serious issues. Again, it's the players who aren't really that good, straining against their limits, who tend to be the real salt generators.

I get alot of salty tells and mail from PvP because they are mad their ultimate sorc or nb got rekt'd by a 500 CP.

It really depends on the people you interact with. I've run into PvEers who, you'd swear, they had a bomb wired to the base of their neck. I've met PvPers who were six inches off exploding in a shower of rage and gore. In both case's they've been the extreme minority, but it does happen.

Nah I wear Pirate and Spriggans. I notice it's pretty easy to get people to make mistakes when they are max CP and overconfident. Arrogance is pretty rampant in Cyro.

I play every day ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ From personal experience, there's just more elitism and bull in end-game pve. Drama and whatnot is more blown out of proportion there. In pvp though, I found way more people who are both serious but also know how to have fun. I can't say what the communities are in PC EU or the consoles, but PC NA has a rather relaxed pvp community. There are bad eggs and guild drama, but it's not as talked about or made a full-on sh*t show in the community. In the pve community, there's just more people who are actually jerks that would prefer to harass, bully, extort, make rumors of, and more of others. Not once in pvp have I met someone who was trying to ruin things for me. In pve, yeah, I have. I don't try to make enemies. They're just awful people

When I have to venture into PVE land to get kit for Cyrodil I feel as if I'm treading on egg shells lest my not BIS equipment/rotation does not please. At least in Cyro you get wrecked they move on or you wreck them and you move on.

I don't take my self seriously at all so why should I take anyone else seriously.

Is this serious as in try hards leeching the fun out of the game for those they come into contact with?

If so then its everywhere and is pretty much "my way or the highway" types, no tolerance and no laughs.
