This game is lacking something... Soule...

His music, not only for the early ES games, plus other games such as the Infinity Engine and later games like Guild Wars, I play this music even now, I just love it.

He wrote the original theme for the game, the one that plays at the login screen...but that has long since been replaced by Morrowind and now Summerset's theme.

Is there a way to change somehow that this music not goes in to battle music... i do not know how to explain...

But when you start a fight, this annoying drum music starts to play... - can you turn this off that only theme music is playing, without those battle inserts?

Personally, as an ardent fan of Soule's work, I adore the ESO OST. I think that Brad Derrick and Rik Schaffer did an excellent job with it - the new motfis in a lot of the pieces, (my personal favourites being the ones in The 3-Banners' Fanfare and Anequina Beckons; in Comrades in Arms, The Towers Cast Long Shadows, and We Honour the Slain; and in Moth, Butterfly and Torchbug/other AD-specific pieces), are beautiful. I also like how the different style reflects the actual differentiation between regular TES games and ESO itself, and re-visitations of Soule's old motifs - especially in Greenheart, and a lot of the Morrowind pieces - are really nicely done, and add a new dimension to an already stunning excerpt.

Don't get me wrong, I ADORE Soule's work, (I have all the TES OSTs going back to Morrowind, and listen to them daily), but I really think that Derrick and Schaffer's music suits ESO superbly, because it's not like other TES games. Equally, their original compositions are beautiful, (Northpoint Nocturne is just... wow...), and I also love their re-interpretations of some of Soule's older motifs.

The music in TESO is a single point I can't argue about (okay, I can, battle music interruptions are offputting). It's excellent and I enjoy my time listening to it while playing

Sorry, I have to respectfully disagree. Brad Derrick’s music for ESO is just fantastic.

I'm pretty sure he made the Summerset theme too

Overall I'm a fan of the music, but after the release of Summerset I found myself turning the music down to where it was barely audible. Listening to music that sounded like I was ramping up for battle while doing daily crafting writs became annoying.
