What do you reckon should be the minimum magicka recovery in BGs?
How about this build (Desert Rose + Shacklebreaker)? I'm going to test it today:

I think it's going to work awesome!

Looks good, pretty standard build;)
I wouldnt use toppling charge tough.
Agreed. It depends on your playstyle as well. I like to play very aggressive so I definately want toppling charge. Set up combo from range with purifying light + reflective light + unstable core + meteor and then charge with some jabs. If you stun them its RIP. I love it.How about this build (Desert Rose + Shacklebreaker)? I'm going to test it today:

You're not the first one to mention this but I honestly can't fight without a gap closer - whatever the class! Especially with Templars since their mobility is rubbish!

Boring and no skill behind that setup. The same goes for sloads like overwhelminh surge. Let the sets do your work thenrikimm16_ESO wrote: »Skoria
Overwhelming (or Sloads)
Wizard Riposte
3 stat food (we need the stamina to CC break)
Argonian (imo)
Vamp

But some people play a more conservative role and I can imagine you don't need it as much.

I have been testing this but I find I am way too squishy (I'm practically on my backbar almost all the time). I think that 5 piece light armor without shields is just not good enough - even with Pirate Skeleton. In fact, Pirate Skeleton has often been a problem. The transformation has something like 0.5 second animation that often messes up my rotation or my barswap. Do you guys fight in light armor or heavy? I also think it would be a lot more beneficial for stamina sustain. So many light-armor build eventually die after running out of stam in BGs.
I am going to try a different approach today. It's less damage but I suspect it will be a lot more survivable:
* 5 - 1 - 1 setup (heavy)
* Shacklebreaker + Desert Rose
* Bloodspawn

An alternative would be
* Shacklebreaker + lich (back-bar)
* 2 piece willpower (front-bar)
* Bloodspawn
Any thoughts?

in heavy this is a pretty comon build, so will work very good.
about pirate skeleton, there is a trick with a costume, which oppresses the transformation. therefore you still get the buffs and debuffs, but no animation disturbance.

I think only disguises suppress the transformation, pretty sure costumes don't help.
