Jewel crafting; How do i have to proceed?

Hey
I am currently leveling my Jewel-crafting gear.
My first character is lvl 50 now. Yeah... that was some work...
My Question: Does it make sense to push the 2nd character to jewel crafting level 50 fast too?
I do daily writs with up to 10 characters and was asking myself if i should push everyone to lvl 14 first.
Why? I dont know... is the probability to get surveys bigger? Do i get better rewards from the chest?
It seems to be much faster to get everyone to lvl 14 than a second character to crafting level 50.
What is the best strategy here? Or do i miss something? Unlocked traits don`t influence the reward from the chest right?

I know, the vouchers for flavour stuff drop only in lvl 50 writs.
And the bug with the inspiration should be fixed right?
Oh... and i have over 1k crafting materials for CP 150-160 jewel crafting. I guess white Cp150 make more sence, since they need way less materials then cp160. Right? Sorry, kinda miss some addons to test it myself.
Do you guys craft white rings for your alts?
