New Blacksmithing Item

Scythe - Two Handed only weapon, has its own skill line.

New Woodworking Items

Combat Staff - Staff used for Melee combat, has its own skill line.
Shadow Staff - New type of Destruction Staff. Shares the Destro staff skill line, but has its own variations of each of the abilities. -
Crossbow - Functions similarly to a Bow, has its own skill line.

New Jewelry Item

Crown - Can be worn instead of a helmet (i.e. you're sacrificing a piece of armor to wear this).

How Traits work with new items

Any traits that are unlocked on ALL other items in the same skill line will be automatically unlocked on the new item upon release, but new traits will still have to be researched separately.

Example: Knowing Infused on every Blacksmithing weapon when Scythes are released will unlock Infused on the Scythe automatically, but other traits for the Scythe will still have to be researched the standard way.

Jewelry Styles

I personally believe Jewelry should both be visible on the character and also have different styles.

Each existing motif would gain 2 additional style pages (15 and 16) for Rings and Necklaces. Upon the introduction of these style pages, characters that already know the other 14 pages (and thus will have completed the motif already) will learn 15 and 16 automatically, but will need to obtain the pages separately for styles they have not yet mastered.

I would welcome any new weapon type. But thats to much skill line. Scyte can be implemented in base 2h skill line. Just give it unique passive(like dagger in dual wield) All i want is 1h&spell. A spellsword(like that altmer lady in trailers)

So you want exactly the same skill lines you have now by different names? Why? You want 2 handed melee, you can use a 2 handed sword, axe, or maul...why choose a staff over those options? Same goes for Shadow Staff. And why in the world would you ever choose a crown over a helm? You would lose the monster set, you would lose the armor...why? As for the crossbow...again, you already have the bow....all these choices are is re-skinning the same old weapons.

    Been there, thought that... ;)

Scythe - Two Handed only weapon, has its own skill line.
Scythe alone is a bit... meager.
Especially considering that historically, scythes were one of the very least used style of polearms when it comes to professional soldiering, and more the staple of farmers uprisings...

I would say... polearms in general, as mentioned in the discussion cited above, with "scythe" being just one racial style (daedric?) together with halberds, glaives, spetums, bardiches, tridents, pikes, military forks, bec-de-cobins, ranseur, naginata, poleaxes, monk's spades, etc.
Combat Staff - Staff used for Melee combat, has its own skill line.
Look up my "subduing weapons" notation for "polearms" at the link above... ;)
Shadow Staff - New type of Destruction Staff. Shares the Destro staff skill line, but has its own variations of each of the abilities. -
Why stop at one? The game at the very least had three staves right of the top of my head - necromancer "coldfire" staff, warlock purple magic staff, red-black "blood magic" staff... I could also see acid and disease staves, like I mentioned in my discussion...
Crossbow - Functions similarly to a Bow, has its own skill line.
I would say, not as a new skill line, but as alternate weapon for bow skills (renaming that into something else... "marksmanship" or whatever).
With slightly different starts... maybe increased armor penetration balanced by a slower rate of fire? So archers get a choice, sould they take a bow for faster firing, or a crossbow for anti-armor work...
Crown - Can be worn instead of a helmet (i.e. you're sacrificing a piece of armor to wear this).
That is a neat idea, and one I had before as well. I imagined a crown or circlet giving some magical buff effect that becomes group-wide if worn by the group leader...
I personally believe Jewelry should both be visible on the character and also have different styles.
Not likely to happen, more's the pity. Since those things would usually be covered by armor anyhow, and partially covered by the appearance system...

Me, I'd be happy if they added more enchantable jewelry options... bracelets and anklets, earrings, whatever... and possibly also made runestones and wands for a "one-handed & magic" or "twin magic" skill line as jeweler-craftables...
