I have to say that I am really enjoying the quests and stories in Summerset. I have played most of the areas and I think in my opinion this one is the best. Very entertaining.
I think so too! I actually wondered if they got a new writer on the team because the quests felt more complex and less predictable than anything they offered since Orsinium, often with choices (even if the outcome was the same or similar) and a darker tone than I am used to from ESO quests.
Summerset really blew me out of the water on their quests, characters, and setting. I've always loved the Elves in Elder Scrolls (mostly the Bosmer), but the Altmer were always a second favorite for me. The quests are really well-done and you really don't suspect anything, like it's plot twists. The characters are well-made and fell alive. Lastly, the setting is simply fantastical and I really enjoy that part of it.
The best areas are Summerset and Hew's Bane. ZOS is at their best when they can be creative, rather than remaking zones from old TES games (which they have to copy).
