Ok I have tried everything and have reached the End...

ever since Mondays maintenance every time I enter a new zone or instance and worse even opening doors I get the ESO has stopped working. I have visited the tech forum and done everything suggested still experiencing the issues.

I want to add after playing WoW for 9yrs I came here for the last four months and must admit to falling for this game in a big way. I know things happen when new stuff is added but I know my Rig is a great rig and am certain beyond a doubt that this is a ESO issue. I hate to find myself thinking about just saying the heck with it even after dumping cash into the game for the expansion and all but I have found myself this morning reaching a point of frustration chasing a bug in game and trying to fix on my end that I am seriously considering walking away.

I am so very disappointed but Monday's maintenance will be the deciding factor.


Dearest ESO this is your issue not an issue with my computer but with this lovely game please find a solution soon.

I hate to break the news to you but your particular issue sounds like a problem on your pc, more specific your game's installation has become corrupted. It could most likely be solved be troubleshooting in this order:

1. Full game analyze/repair from the launcher
2. If that didn't work, rename your game folder and use the launcher to completely redownload a new installation of the game
3. If the newly download installation starts showing the same problem, start looking for the underlying hardware problem that causes it

Definitely a local issue. Check your drive space, video drivers, scan disk, check for malware, HW memory check, pending windows updates cause weird things to happen, reboot after making changes before trying again, etc. I'd probably do all that before I reinstalled the software, but you are going t have to consider all of these things.
