PSA: Claim Your Daily Rewards Upon Log In Or Timer Will Reset

This is stupid! Happened twice now before I knew what was going on. I've been playing everyday since the daily log in was introduced but just so happens that I'm doing dailies with my other toons and forgot to claim my reward on my main toon since I'm too lazy to go to bank and don't want to risk claiming it with my alts.

Daily Rewards should go straight to inventory or mail upon log in!

After you claim it, just put it in the bank. So far the stuff has been account bound not character bound.

Yeah if I weren't lazy this wouldn't happen, it's just the texture load and slow load times hence the reason why I don't like to travel zones and go to banks

Yeah, this isn't like the level up rewards which you can't bank. To be fair, that stuff makes sense. If you could bank your level up rewards, you could just delete and roll up new characters pulling down more XP scrolls and other goodies. Though, in the end, I kinda wonder if the effort would be worth the payout. But, the login rewards can just be banked normally.

Nope. In pop up before logging out and announcement interface, it only displays "view rewards."

the one you have highlighted there is the NEXT claimable reward, not the one you already got.

Like I said earlier, this was claimable about 8 hours ago then it became like this, I haven't claimed anything at all. Same thing happened in my first reward, it was available but I skipped it then later on it reseted to "available in: x hours" then it became claimable again and moved through next reward

Like I said, I've been playing since daily was available and I should be at 3rd reward now and 15 hours to 4th. I am willing to give proof but I've just figured out what was going on just now and I'm already down 2 days. Also dailes will reset in 23 days that said, I might miss the 5 psijic crates if I would go gather proof. I say, if anyone is willing please do so or wait till next month.

Jeez, dude. ZOS shows you the Daily Reward Notice at least twice: when you log in and when you log out. Now I understand why I have to endure closing these stupid windows multiple times on every of my alts.

Or did you "conveniently" removed these popups with addon?

Right now, NoThankYou will reportedly keep generating new alerts until the client crashes, if you don't pull down your reward. Somewhere north of 10k notifications seems to be the limit.

OP is right though. It's stupid that you have to actually claim the reward to make the login count. Wasn't even aware of this nonsense. Thx for hint OP.

One thing I really don't get though. Why would you not claim them with your alts? Are you afraid all the nice poisons and meals and gold will be character bound? xD

Set No Thank You to send those messages to chat instead of Notifications and you will not have crash and only one two error messages in chat.

Yes, it was easy to claim. But if the daily gift interface has an error like this, it's still good to know in order to make sure it doesn't happen again. /shrug

Can confirm the OP is onto something (it's actually why I came to the message boards this morning). I logged in to an alt to transfer a monster mask really quick, assuming I would just collect my daily reward on my main. However, after logging out and logging in on my main, it's only showing me when the next award will be available instead of being able to claim the reward. I collected my last reward on June 5th, after 12am UTC, which means that as of 12am UTC I should have been eligible to claim a reward, but I can't.

Edit: Out of curiosity to see what conditions trigger this, I tried creating then immediately deleting a character on a mule account, then logging in on an existing character on that same account. That also led to the timer resetting, so it doesn't seem that you even have to log in for that to happen.

I have to report the opposite here. I also logged in first with one of my alts, logged through a couple more and only then to my main, with which I finally claimed the reward. No problem whatsoever, I was able to claim the reward just fine.
On one occasion I was even online when the next reward became available, and after swithcing to my main I could also claim it without problems.

Well... I usually play at very high and my alts are in most case are in far-off place hence the amount of time spending in loading screen and traveling time is just too damn long for me to wait. That is why I only claim mails, logins, and other stuff with my main.

Hmm, maybe we should be including which platform we're doing these tests from. I've been trying these things from PS4.

Also, who knows if logging in and out is the actual issue. It could be a bunch of different things seeing as it does and doesn't happen under different conditions

Same here (PC-NA).

Tested this by going through my alts & closing the "Claim" window.

Returned to my main and was able to claim the reward with no problem.

I also don't have this problem. I flop around between lots of characters and "eventually" get around to snagging on a specific one. No problem at all.

PC if that matters.

I still don't get it. Can't you just trash the items on any character in any place? The good stuff is added to collection anyways.

But I need to be perfectly clear about this: If I log in every day but don't claim rewards I will not get the upgrade? Like I won't get the crates if I don't claim all the trash?

Exactly, you have to manually claim the rewards each day you log in, if you want to be able to claim the rewards of later days. You can destroy unwanted items immediately though.
