New Dark Shade Question

The shade occasionally deals area of effect damage.
Duration: [15 / 16 / 17 / 18] seconds.
Summon a shade versions [sic] of yourself to attack an enemy and fight at your side for [15 / 16 / 17 / 18] seconds. The shade slashes at an enemy, dealing 239 Magic Damage and occasionally whirlwinds all enemies around it, dealing 318 Magic Damage. The shade's attacks inflict Minor Maim, reducing the enemy's damage done by 15% for 4 seconds.

So the new shade can only debuff one target minor maim right ? I thought it was AOE before ...

When I tested it last night , I could only saw one target with minor maim debuff in the crowd .

The spin attack is somewhat random. When it does occur, all enemies hit with it will get Minor Maim but because it doesn't happen every 4 seconds, the Minor Maim can fall off on other enemies and only the primary target of the Shade will continue to be debuffed until it decided to do its Spin attack again.

It's somewhat more useful than it was before but it still needs some work to be as reliable as it needs to be.
