Can’t play Summerset on Xbox UI Error

I installed the update today, just entered my code from the physical collectors edition. Logged on, selected my character. When it loads, there is a message box that says UI Error with with a bunch of shut I don’t understand. Says A dismisses error but when I hit A, it just cycles through the text over and over and won’t go away.

I logged off and logged back on. Did a hard rest and unplugged/replugged in my console. Loaded up the game again and still happening.

What’s going on?

Edit: when I keep spamming A, the error eventually leaves, but my toon is just standing there, no HUD on my screen and none of my buttons do anything , can’t even bring up a menu.

    From what I gather, is EU is having issues from reading another thread. Why there is no BIG RED BANNER on the top here I don't know. It was said that Zenimax is working on it but not sure if that is true or not. You are not the only EU person having issues. I play on NA server so sorry I can't be more help. Just wanted to let you know.

    I’m on the NA server having this issue. Per the message before logging on, it says if you ha e any UI issue, to make sure you’re all patched, then restart your console. I have everything updated and the patch installed from this morning. I have no updates left. Hard resettled my console and still get the UI error.

    You should take a snapshot of the error(s) and send them to customer support and open a ticket.

    You could try to delete the game settings. If you do so, just be sure to also delete the synced settings in the cloud, so the next time you start the game, they won’t be synced back from Xbox Live.
    You won’t lose your character progression, but you may have to look in your combat settings etc. when you login for the next time.

    I just uninstalled the game and have it reinstalling over night. Well see in the morning if it works.

    Yes, I was talking about saved data. But if you didn’t select the button to also wipe you saved data in the cloud, it might have downloaded them from Xbox Live again. Did you have to set up brightness etc. again after deleting your saved data?
    Anyway, I hope the reinstall fixes your issues.

    I have been looking into this more, in regards the UI Error that I get after selecting my character. A lot of PC people have been getting and hey have fixes for it on another website, ESOUI, however, not sure why I am getting this on Xbox.

    I am reinstalling the game so hopefully that works.

    Not sure if I deleted the save data from the cloud, i’ll have to check when my game reinstalls. I did t have to readjust the brightness, the game just started up normal after clearing saved data. Took me straight to the character selection screen, then proceeded to give me the error again and again.

    Did that just a couple of days before and I definitely had to set up brightness again. When you’re deleting saved data then there are two options. I think default is to only wipe out local data.
    Should be pretty obvious when you see the dialogue box, but honestly I had to look it up on the internet as well.
