Has anyone figured out how exactly abyssal geysers work?

In the case of dark anchors, you had to close one so that the next one, in a fixed pattern around each map, would open.

Doesn't seem to be the case with geysers, as several of them can be up simultaneously.

Is it just a timer?

I played around on the PTS, as far as I could tell it was just a random amount of time since it was last closed.

Yeah it precisely doesn't work like that. Go when almost nobody is playing, if you don't close the one that is currently up, the others won't spawn, no matter how long you wait.

    It's a puzzle.

All four must be flushed at the same time.
