Mark of the Pariah worth or not

Is the set worth for pvp if I'm a warden tank with 20k magic and physical resistance, Blood Spawn set and using ice fortress?

Because if I didn't understood wrong armor cap is around 33k, so what I have now + if buffs and procs are up is about 31k.

Now my question is, makes sense in pvp have more than 33k armor and spell resistance? Is usually the people using major/minor fracture/breach??

Going beyond armor cap is almost never waisted in PvP. People are penetrating your armor pretty intensely. I'm not speaking for or against your build in any way. I'm just saying it won't be waisted mitigation.

You're far more likely to die from unmitigatable damage in PVP (bleeds, Oblivion damage, etc.) so that's why MotP isn't worth it, in my opinion. I'd much rather a set that removes a negative effect like Wyrd or Stendarr. Or better a set that boosts your healing/damage or your group healing/damage, because face it, as a Tank, you're going to get ignored or ganged up on and killed eventually if you don't have some way of applying pressure to the enemy.

It's a great set, which gives very good mitigation in many situations, however certain things in the current meta weaken it's strength like bleeds and sloads. Also you have to accept that you won't be able to kill as many players as you can with 2 more offensive focused sets.

it's a gambling set. If you prefer solid armor you can rely on don't go that route

Pariah is the best resistance 5pc in the game. The 5pc gives 2.5k resistances at 100% and scales dynamically up to the full value which is especially good on builds with a decent hp pool and the vampire passive for up to 30% additional mitigation below 50%.
Exceeding resistance caps is a thing for PvP though because your resistances will be penetrated by up to 17k from debuffs and light armour builds.

However, there are more effective forms of mitigation in PvP. For you already hitting high resistances a set like impregnable armour in combination with 5-7 sturdy would be better.

Thank you. I wondered if this set was used at all.

This is a good set. Better than the overrated Fortified Brass imo.
A bit weaker than FB when you are above 75% health, but better when you drop lower (and it is at the moment you drop lower than 50% were you are in trouble, not above).

But actually, it's a bit meh due to bleeds, sloads users
