How to improve: Balance, Server Performance, Cyrodiil Population and more
Hello,
These things have been in my mind for a long Time and also other ppl share my ideas. So here they are:
Disable the 5 piece of any Instant Damage Proc set when in Pvp, Battlegrounds or duels.
This would improve Balance cause everything is more skill based instead of slotting am armor set that Does the Job for you. Especially in noCP where these sets are completly overperforming. In addition to this these sets dont need to get nerfed so pve players can enjoy them and dont Need to fear that they get nerfed cause of pvp balance. Also Performance would be better cause the server dont need to handle all the proc conditions of these sets in pvp cause they simply dont work there. Making cyro more skill based and less laggy. I mean who doesnt want this?
Remove Imperial City from Cyrodiil.
Give it a seperate Campaign where u can enter directly into the mainbase of your Alliance. Making it much more faster to enter it. No Need to enter cyro queue and reduce population in cyro cause u are in IC. So all the players who are in vivec playing in cyro and are Not divided between cyro and IC. Give us two IC. One without Cp and one with Cp.
Rework Befoul in CP
A minor or major buff/debuff shouldnt be changeable with cp. It should stay a Flat value. 30 % from major defile is still strong. So in CP campaigns the server dont need to calculate how much % defile is now applied. So it can be a flat value on the server reducing the calculation the server needs to handle.
These little changes would greatly improve the games Quality. Pve players dont need to fear that their fav. Proc sets gets nerfed cause of pvp. More players in Cyrodiil cause IC doesnt count to Cyrodiil Population anymore. Defile still strong but not broken. No salt cause of overperforming equip-to-win armor sets. And more performance cause the server has less procs to handle. The devs can focus more on class balance cause they dont need to balance proc sets anymore for pvp.
I know some player will be offended from the removal of damage proc sets but the majority of the pvp player base would actually enjoy it cause then its more like skill vs skill and not set vs set wich is just stupid in my opinion and has nothing to with fun and statisfying Gameplay.
I hope someone from zenimax will read this and actually think about it and what a huge positive effect it would have in the game. And also please feel free to share your thoughts on this.
