Stam characters are unplayable..

Honestly had to switch Stamblade to Magblade because for some reason my ping times have shot through the roof on NA servers..

Before summerset i was getting 250 ms and now after its 290-400... Fluctuates madly too, getting disconnects game literally goes link dead and i'm booted to the title screen..

Not sure why stam builds are so poor in high ping situations but magicka builds seem a lot more forgiving.. Its a shame but i can no longer even play melee its terrible not just ping wise skill wise they cannot come close to mage skills in anyway.. At least at low level cp

I can see why people call this Elder staves online..

    You may want to mention where you're connecting from. Personally I do just fine one my stamblade on the EU PC living in the Netherlands. ~80 ping.

    Sorry Australia, 250 is pretty standard to the USA but 400 is just :o honestly not having any issues in any other online games i play and most of these issues seem to have gradually appeared since summerset but got worse last patch..

    That said i did get some odd errors last update but the game seemed to run fine after and i've done repairs, nothing found..

    Kinda weird..

    Aren't the EU servers based in Germany? NA are located in Texas I believe.

    Neither are particularly close to any of the Pacific region, particularly for those playing in Australia/Asia

    Oregon NA was 90-110 now its never lower than 130-400..constant lag and drops, never happened before..

    You sure it’s stam related? All i have is stamblade

    I won’t make a new char or race change again, I’ll just take a break, dungeons have been hell since the update

    Once i crashed it kept me logged in so i couldn’t log back in smh

    The EU servers are in Frankfurt, Germany.

    I dunno when i try to attack things i get error messages saying target is not in that place or some such.. i don't see that with magicka stuff..

    The level of easiness of playing a stamblade on PC right now, is almost back to the viper/veli days.

    I'm guessing this too seeing others agreeing with me above, seems something went wrong last patch, if my ping goes down again (if they fix it) i'll switch back to stamblade and see..

    But it might explain why so many players go magicka builds as well, because its not hindered by latency as badly.

    Lots of stam, just north of you, and I'm not seeing any ping spikes. Maybe I'm just lucky, though.

    I think people are misunderstanding.. I do not think the server issues are cause by stam characters, i am just saying stam character are tougher to play and a lot more hindered under the current server issues..

    At least with high 300-400 ping times.. Stam characters are unplayable for me to hit enemies currently..Magicka seem to have no issues hitting enemies in high ping server issues.

    Stamina characters are not the direct result of the server issues..

    I don’t know if it’s the same on pc as console, but the performance in the last month has been the worst in a year plus. My friend and I have a theory that they use expansion time to replace or repair a bunch of the server equipment, so they’re running with less capacity. Maybe that’s it, maybe not, but before vvardenfell things got awful too.
